The New York Mets issues with injuries have become a running joke in the last few years. Even though every MLB club faces these problems, the Amazins just have a way of making everything look worse. Despite not even being a few weeks into Spring Training, the injuries are already piling up, and not even the great Tim Tebow is immune to it.
While a sprained ankle is hardly significant injury, especially for Tebow, who once played on a broken leg in high school, it's the way the Heisman winner suffered the injury that is just classic Mets. According to the New York Post's Mike Puma, it happened in the most Mets way possible:

This poor franchise just cannot catch a break. Also, they probably shouldn't have sprinkler heads where actual, valuable players that will contribute could possibly get hurt. Never want to joke about injuries, but their lucky it was Tebow this time. If Yoenis Cespedes trips up Mets fans will riot in the streets.
