(Photo by Craig Jones/Getty Images)Twenty games have already been played, four involving ranked teams, but it doesn't really feel like college football season has begun. Saturday's slate of games will immediately quell that notion, featuring matchups like Michigan vs. Florida, BYU vs. LSU and the game-of-the-weekend, Alabama vs. Florida State.
But only one thing can truly kick off the season, and that's the GOAT of sports pre-game shows: College Gameday. There's just something about four dudes shouting over a couple hundred morning-drunk fans outside of a football stadium that's been ent..

D. Johnson in control again, takes lead at Dell
Now that he has finally won again, Dustin Johnson is starting to look as dangerous as ever. One week after Johnson ended a five-month dry spell brought on by a back injury, he easily handled the early cold and a steady wind at TPC Boston for a 5-under 66 to take a one-shot lead in the opening round of the Dell Technologies Championship.
Kraft (foot) WDs after making carding a 12 at Dell
NORTON, Mass. – Kelly Kraft withdrew from the Dell Technologies Championship on Friday with a right foot injury, according to PGA Tour officials.
Kraft was 10 over par when he withdrew after 14 holes, with much of that damage coming on the second hole when he made a septuple bogey-12 that included three penalty strokes, two balls hit into a water hazard and a three-putt from 5 1/2 feet.
The early exit could also mark the end of Kraft’s season. At 64th on the playoff points list, there is a chance he could drop outside the top 70 and not advance to the next postseason stop.
Kraft finished 70th last week at The Northern Trust after closing his week with rounds of 74-78-76.

Today in questionable golf attire: Tiger Woods’ sleeveless T-shirt and gym shorts
Lost in all the breathless reaction to Tiger Woods' announcement that he was cleared to practice his short game was his outfit of choice in the accompanying video. Granted, none of this is entirely new to Woods. We've seen him in sleeveless Ts at the gym, and posing with random fans, and we've recently seen him in even less formal attire when diving for lobsters (plus, there was . . . actually, never mind).

But this was different. This was Woods in a muscle T and Oakland Raiders shorts on some semblance of a golf course (more on that in a second). And one can't help but wonder if Woods' massive style influence, which once spawned a mock turtleneck golf-shirt phase, might inspire a new straight-from-the-bench-press motif at your local club.

Slattery in front as weather suspends Czech Masters
VYSOKY UJEZD, Czech Republic – Lee Slattery overcame heavy rain and cold to shoot a 7-under 65 Friday and take the lead in the second round of the Czech Masters before play was suspended because of tough weather conditions.
As the others were dropping shots, Slattery ignored the elements and built a lead.
The Englishman opened the back nine with a couple of birdies and added three more starting on No. 13. With another three birdies and a bogey, he finished his round at 7 under.
''It's got to be up there, if not the best round (in my career),'' said Slattery, a two-time European Tour winner.
''The only green I missed today was the eighth hole and I hit a great chip to 5 feet and missed it, and had a three on the first for a par,'' he said. ''So overall, it was a flawless round of golf, 14 fairways and 17 greens because I missed that one green, in this weather it was pretty incredible.''
Dylan Frittelli was one stroke ..
If these are actually Maury Povich’s golf clubs, they’re amazing
We can't confirm the golf clubs in the photo below actually belong to Maury Povich, but if they do, they're amazing. Our friends at Barstool Sports shared a picture from a private Instagram account of someone who claimed to have caddied for the longtime TV personality and posted this funny photo:

Absolutely perfect. We've seen some great customized stampings on wedges, but “YOU ARE NOT THE FATHER” might take the cake. Of course, the saying is in reference to the many paternity-test results that have been revealed on Povich's Maury Show throughout the years.
We can confirm Povich is a golfer — and a very good one at that. Golf Digest's list of Hollywood's Top 100 Golfers once had him as a 1 handicap.
But he's clearly at an even higher level when it comes to customizing wedges. Either that, or someone else has a really odd sense of humor.
