McIlroy, who is back as the world's top-ranked player, is in a great place mentally. And it has nothing to do with golf.

Here’s everything you ever wanted to know about Rickie Fowler’s wedding (and some stuff you didn’t)
It's been over four months since Rickie Fowler and Allison Stokke, golf Instagram's third-most-powerful couple, tied the knot down in Mex-ee-co, and yet the ordinarily share-y duo have kept the details of their oceanside ceremony scant. Who did they wear? What did they eat? Was Rickie dressed like a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas stand-in? We've been left with nothing more than a handful of photos posted to Instagram, breadcrumbs in the vast forest of possibility.
Until now, that is.
On Wednesday Vogue—yes, that Vogue—published a behind-the-scenes look at the Fowler-Stokke merger, featuring just about every detail you could ever imagine wanting to know, plus a bunch you probably don't (Stokke wore Danielle Frankel earrings, for example). Alas, there are no itemized receipts or drunken tales to run forensics on, but there are still plenty of fun little morsels to go around. Such as . . .
The original venue was supposed to be Baker's Bay in the Bahamas, but after..
Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich shows he’s fully aware he might get traded in hilarious clip
Darcy FinleyTrade deadline SZN is also Cliche SZN in every major sport, especially so in hockey, where beautiful cliches instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. With the deadline just 12 days away in the National Pucks League, you're going to hear a lot of comments like “this is a business,” and “some tough decisions have to be made,” and “wherever I end up, I just gotta get more pucks in deep” from players on the block.
You might not hear some of that stuff from New York Rangers forward Pavel Buchnevich, who, now in his fourth season in the NHL, has shown the potential to be a lethal scorer while also disappearing for long stretches. At 24 years old, that makes him a prime trade candidate, a guy who still has “high upside.” As of February 11th, TSN ranked him 12th out of 40 players on its “Trade Bait List.” No. 1 is teammate and linemate Chris Kreider.
Apparently, Buch is fully aware of his place on the Trade Bait List, even referring to it following the Rangers' ..

Ty Kelly unearths minor-league baseball’s darkest secret: The lunches, dear god the lunches
Minor league baseball is hanging by a thread. The one-time bedrock of America's pastime is crumbling from years of neglect and the MLB wants to tear the whole damn building down. Back in December, the MLB's plans for the liquidation of 42 MiLB teams—as well as the reduction of the draft from 40 rounds to just over 20—leaked to widespread condemnation from players and fans alike. Stories like Aaron Judge's might cease to exist, we worried. Entire regions of America might be cutoff from live baseball entirely, fans said. It was, and remains, a sad story. If Mets minor leaguer Ty Kelly's recent thread about the conditions minor leaguers face on a daily basis is to be believed, however, then perhaps a swift, merciful death is actually for the best. We apologize in advance if you're reading this on your lunch break.

There's NOTHING wrong with that lunch. Nobody should feel bad about what they eat to pinch..
Shaq roasts a former teammate with embarrassing, old NBA Dunk Contest clip (again)
Paras GriffinShaquille O'Neal's “Shaqtin' a fool” segments have become a staple of TNT's NBA coverage in recent years. But on Wednesday, the Hall-of-Fame big man dug through the archives to roast a former teammate on Twitter. Again.
With the NBA Dunk Contest on tap this Saturday, Shaq looked back to the 1996 edition which he and Penny Hardaway (Miss that duo!) attended as a member of the Orlando Magic. Although Shaq and Penny didn't enter the contest, they completed as many successful dunks as Orlando's Darrell Armstrong, who had a rough go of it.

Armstrong's final attempt wound up being a reverse layup and has gone down in Dunk Contest lore. And Shaq loves to remind people of the embarrassing moment. Here's his tweet from Wednesday:
