Patrick Reed’s green jacket critics, Greg Norman’s interesting dance moves, and the #SB2K crew crashes a wedding
Welcome to another edition of The Grind, where we were reminded once again that all good things come to an end. Of course, I’m talking about golf’s #SB2K crew, which instead of partying it up at Baker’s Bay this year, attended the wedding of one of its own, Smylie Kaufman. Cue Madonna singing “This used to be my playground,” and hold back the tears for the end of an era.

OK, so judging by the photos (some of which have since been deleted …) it looks like the guys simply swapped matching tank-tops for matching tuxes and moved their annual spring fling to Alabama—getting their bar tab picked up by Smylie’s in-laws in the process. Brilliant. But while this foursome attacked the dance floor like a short par 5, there was still plenty happening on golf courses around the world. Here's what else has us talking.

‘Super Troopers 2’ and Hooters team up for inevitable 4/20 “Snozzberry Sauce”
Big news in the world of fine cuisine this week, where Super Troopers 2 and Hooters have joined forces for a special new “Snozzberry Sauce” just in time for 4/20. Buckle up, Bourdain. Eat your heart out, Batali. This is about to get nuts.
In case that didn't clear things up, here's what Hooters had to say about their latest culinary triumph:
Hooters Snozzberry Sauce pairs perfectly with its latest wing innovation, Smoked Wings, which are marinated overnight with a sweet and spicy dry rub before being hickory smoked in-house. Smoked Wings are also half the calories of traditional-style wings, so fans can eat twice as many if the munchies kick in.
Subtle stuff, we know. Also, if for some reason you get too paranoid to leave the house on Thursday, don't stress. Hooters delivery (a thing, apparently) has you covered with on-the-go wings and maybe even an acute anxiety attack-inducing Super Troopers 2 cast cameo:
For those unable to visit Hooters on April 20, guests that orde..

The Boston Marathon was weird even by marathon standards
Boston GlobeNEWTON, MA – APRIL 16: Runners climb Heartbreak Hill during the Boston Marathon in Newton, Mass., April 16, 2018. (Photo by Craig F. Walker/The Boston Globe via Getty Images)The Boston Marathon is an event in which many thousands of people elect to run 26 miles of hills to Boston, so it’s already a little weird. But even by inhumanly strange standards, the 2018 edition provided an awful lot of bonus weird. Just a few of the things that happened on the Boston Marathon course/Ice Bowl/Rocky IV training circuit this weekend.
• First of all, America crushed. Sure, we’re a nice country that’s produced sweet soul music, pocket technology and Beyonce, but we’re not usually this collectively good at running, which is why supportive marathon signs usually say something like “You Are All Kenyans To Us!” Yet at Boston we stormed: Desiree Linden became the first American to win in 33 years, finishing in 2:39.54, running the last six miles uncontested and eventually consuming, we are as..

Is someone going to die in game 4 of the Devils-Lightning series? Brian Boyle says so
In case NHL fans haven't mentioned this, the playoffs are wild, man. We're barely halfway through the first round and shit has already hit the fan. While all four games on Tuesday night's schedule were pure insanity, one stood out, that being game three between the Devils and Lightning, in Newark, NJ, a hockey hotbed.
After two dominating games in Florida by the Lightning, this series looked over before it even started, but the power of home ice was paramount for THE DEVILSSSSS on Tuesday. Both times New Jersey went down by a goal they came storming right back, eventually winning the game 5-2 in front of a raucous, sold-out crowd at the Prudential Center. It got so raucous that at the end of the game, the Lightning did what every team does that thought they had the series in the bag and no longer does – they started a bunch of shit that will carry over into game four. This makes Wednesday's game by far the most intriguing of the first round, mainly because someone m..

The key to the Philadelphia 76ers’ surprising run? A 4-point line on their practice court
Jesse D. Garrabrant(Photo by Jesse D. Garrabrant/NBAE via Getty Images)The Philadelphia 76ers and their #Process were considered a year away coming into this campaign, yet—off the back of a 16-game winning streak to end the regular season—the Sixers worked their way to the No. 3 seed in the East. It's inarguably the most surprising performance in the league, and with a core of superstars in Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid and young talent like Robert Covington, Markelle Fultz and Dario Saric, Philly should be an Eastern Conference tour de force for the foreseeable future.
But the franchise doesn't rely on fledgling firepower alone. Because Simmons is adverse 3-point shots—the (likely) Rookie of the Year hasn't attempted one all season, which goes against everything we know about modern basketball—the team had to get creative in its spacing to prevent clogging the lane. The solution, according to the Wall Street Journal? A 4-point line on the team's practice court:
“When..

Your all-in-one guide to all the free crap you can get on Tax Day
One winter when I was in high school, my dad saw a deal where you could get free tickets to a Washington Wizards or Caps game if you bought enough Chex Mix. He bought 96 bags of Chex Mix and got 20 Wiz tickets so my brother and I could take a bunch of friends. But the Wiz were terrible so he switched that order to the Caps, and the Wizards front office didn't do their accounting, so we got 40 free tickets.
Well, he didn't technically buy the Chex Mix. He combined the store offer with a discount from Chex, so in the end Giant Food paid him a few cents for each bag on top of the free tickets. My brother and I were the ones who really paid for the experience, because we had to eat Chex Mix every day for like three months straight.
That's what Tax Day is like: Even if you're among the lucky ones, like me, who are poor enough to get a refund, you still have to go through the process. And unlike with money, the government can't refund you for the time you spend, but ..
