Todd Frazier’s son rakes base hit, breaks out the salt n’ peppa to celebrate

What could possibly be better than the Mets' salt n' peppa celebration—already the best thing in baseball—you ask? Well, how about Blake Fraizer, son of MLB everyman Todd Fraizer, smacking an opp-field single during a Little League game this weekend and the topping it off with a little twist of the seasoning. WARNING: MAY CAUSE CUTE SEIZURES:

FacebookPinterestRELATED: Justin Thomas lived his day with the New York Mets to its fullest
Now The ToddFather is widely considered one of the best Locker Room Guys™ in the Majors. Last July, he joined the Yankees and they roared to an unexpected ALCS berth. This spring, he hopped a Flushing-bound 7 train, and suddenly the Mets can't lose. Hell, he even presided over a not terrible Cincinnati Reds team between 2011 and 2015, which is pretty much like winning a World Series anywhere else.
In other words, it's no surprise that Lil' Fraizer is already flashing his dad's Jersey charm and sneaky po..

This upcoming Millennium Falcom ride may actually restore your ability to feel ‘Star Wars’ joy

Alright, fine, so you’re retroactively lukewarm on “The Force Awakens.” You’re still whining about Leia’s Mary Poppins space-sail in “The Last Jedi,” about how the humor wasn’t quit eat the level of a green puppet Yoda tossing around Luke’s snacks. There’s still plenty of reason to worry about “Solo.” You’re entitled to all those dumb opinions.
But holy sweet mother of the Rancor Keeper, take a gander at this clip from Disney’s forthcoming Millennium Falcon ride.
What you’re seeing here is leaked footage from the Falcon ride that’s coming to the “Star Wars”-themed Galaxy’s Edge parks in 2019 — one at Disneyland in Anaheim, one at Hollywood Studios in Orlando. (Here a more official glimpse of what they look like right now.) If this footage is legit, it shows that the ride isn’t a roller coaster, but a more immersive experience that will find guests PILOTING THE MILLENNIUM FALCON and SHOOTING AT TIE FIGHTERS and ATTACKING A BATTALION OF AT-ATs, once they successfully get through nine hou..

The dress code on the Red Sox’s current road trip is tracksuit casual

Ah, the tracksuit. Long the uniform of self-professed pickup artists and the nations of the former Eastern Bloc, the showy, flowy staple swished onto the runway this week with some help from an unlikely trendsetter: The Boston Red Sox. Part of a new MLB movement inspired by the Chicago Cubs' costumed hi-jinx, the Sox's upcoming road trip “dress code” is all tracksuit, all the time, and by the looks of things, the players are embracing it with clear eyes and full hearts.
Things started off innocently enough, with Xander Bogaerts, Eduardo Rodriguez, and Andrew Benintendi opting for a few clean, modern looks:

Thankfully, things soon came off the sartorial rails, starting with Joe Kelly Jr. and this Dixie Cup-inspired look plucked straight out of a 1991 jet ski commercial…

The #SB2K crew cleans up nice for Smylie Kaufman’s wedding

Growing up is a long, tough, messy process, but when adulthood hits, it hits like Mike Tyson swinging ton of bricks. Just ask the #SBK2K crew. This time last year, Smylie, Jordan, Justin, and Rickie were chilling in the Bahamas, rocking matching tequila-themed tanktops and playing golf barefoot. Rickie was still single, Smylie was still a bachelor, JT had zero majors and Jordan hadn't even coined “Go Get That” yet. But life comes at you fast, and when the squad reconvened for Smylie's wedding this weekend, well, let's just say things looked a little different:
LoadingView on Instagram
Just look at these fine, upstanding young gentlemen. Rickie is wearing reading glasses and will talk your ear off about Cali Cab Savs if you give him an opening, Jordan has that terrified next-guy-up-at-a-wedding face, and JT traded the flip flops for a pocket square. If you're wondering about Smylie, well, he's the guy getting married, so there's that. Suffice to say this…..

Tennis player’s meltdown in umpire’s face is your must-watch uncomfortable video of the week

Julian Finney(Photo by Julian Finney/Getty Images)Tennis has a reputation for fostering spoiled, imprudent brats. The following video won't change that perception.
Professional player/Johnny Lawrence wannabe Jared Donaldson was playing Albert Ramos in a first-round Monte Carlo match when a French umpire called a Ramos serve “in” that appeared to be “out.” Donaldson, understanding the difficulty of the umpire's job, took the toss-up judgement for what it was and moved on.
LOL, JK. Donaldson acted like someone took away his berry-infused, sugar glazed French toast and replaced it with Raisin Bran:

The exchange didn't end there. According to the UK's Express, Donaldson called over a supervisor following an umpire warning, ending the conversation with, “[Laughs] Sorry I hurt your feelings. Oh sorry. He can call unsportsmanlike conduct for whatever?”
French–American relations are already tenuous at best. Donaldson&#0..

PETA responds to Kelly Kraft’s bird incident by kicking the man while he’s down

Sam Greenwood(Photo by Sam Greenwood/Getty Images)Got to feel for Kelly Kraft. Not only did he miss the RBC Heritage cut in bizarre fashion, he now has PETA kicking him while he's down.
If you missed the news on Friday, the 2011 U.S. Amateur champ's tee shot on Harbour Town's par-3 14th tee struck a bird, causing his ball to drop into a water hazard. Kraft walked away with a double bogey. An incident noteworthy in itself, particularly so given Kraft missed the cut by…one shot.
“Dang bird, shouldn’t of been flying there!’’ Kraft tweeted. “Only on freaky Friday the 13th I suppose. Oh well, onto the next.’’
A missed weekend—and more importantly, missed paycheck—is punishment enough for the accident. Except in the eyes of PETA, which relished the opportunity to do what it does best: act as a giant buzzkill.
“PETA is glad the bird is OK and sorry Kelly Kraft didn't advance, but that's not the bird's fault,’’ PETA senior vice president Lisa Lange told USA Toda..

The 76ers are the coolest team in the NBA Playoffs, and you should root for them

Mitchell LeffIf I could have one wish, as a Duke fan, it would be to invent a time machine, go back to the J.J. Redick era (2002-2006), and then use that time machine to bring all of Redick's most adamant haters to the year 2018, where I would force them to observe the Philadelphia 76ers for a month before transporting them safely back. It's a complicated fantasy, and probably illegal. But it would serve a great purpose, because I'm convinced that roughly 60% of those professional haters would no longer harbor the same animosity for Redick—who, you may have forgotten, was probably the second most-hated Blue Devil in Duke history, after Christian Laettner. (Pre-Grayson Allen era, of course.)
Here's Redick in 2018: Thirteen years deep in a very efficient, very successful NBA career, and getting better all the time. He's not a superstar, he's never been an All-Star, and he's never won an NBA championship, but he averages 17.1 points per game this season ..

Satoshi Kodaira wins RBC Heritage in playoff over Si Woo Kim

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) Satoshi Kodaira closed with a 5-under 66 to rally from six shots behind, and then made a 25-foot birdie putt on the third playoff hole to defeat Si Woo Kim and win the RBC Heritage on Sunday.

Kodaira won for the first time in just his fifth start in regular PGA Tour events.

The 28-year-old from Japan finished at 12-under 272 about an hour before Kim finished his round of 71. They matched pars on the 18th hole twice in the sudden-death playoff before Kodaira made his birdie putt on the par-3 17th, and Kim came up short from just outside 20 feet.

Bryson DeChambeau birdied his last four holes for a 66 and tied for third with Luke List (72).

Ian Poulter, who had a one-shot lead going into the final round, made six bogeys in the final round for a 75. He tied for seventh.

Starting times for the final round were moved up because of a forecast for bad weather.

Kodaira became the sixth consecutive winner at Harbour Town to rally f..
