This week's Honda Classic is probably the PGA Tour stop where you'll see the least amount of courtesy cars in the parking lot. With so many players living in nearby Jupiter, Fla., much of the field is taking advantage by sleeping in their own beds and driving their own vehicles to the course. Take Rory McIlroy, who is arriving at PGA National in style this week in a beautiful Ferrari — a beautiful Ferrari once owned by Ian Poulter.

McIlroy didn't flaunt his Ferrari, but Poulter, a known car collector, showed it off on Instagram, because he misses his baby. And we don't blame him. This is one sweet ride:

Sorry, Ian. Although, we think he'll manage. . .

Larry Nance Jr. says toughest part of trade to Cavs is telling mom he’s not moving back in
Jason MillerBeing traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Cleveland Cavaliers instantly put Larry Nance Jr. on an NBA contender. But it also cut down on the 25-year-old's nightlife options — especially now that mom is keeping a closer eye on him.

Nance's dad has his jersey retired by the Cavaliers and his parents still make Cleveland their home. And according to the young power forward, his mom was hoping he'd make it his home as well. Check out this funny response from Nance when asked about his transition since the trade was made Feb. 8:

“Trying to convince my mom that I’m not living at home,” Nantz says in the clip. “We’re out looking for rental properties and stuff like that, she’s like, ‘Oh, I’ve got, you know, our basement’s pretty nice.’ So that’s probably been the toughest thing.”
For the record, Nance is making $1.5 million this season. ..

European Tour pro gives brutally honest — yet, poetic — assessment of bad shot
Alvaro Quiros has long been known as one of the longest hitters in the world. But the seven-time European Tour winner sounds like he might also be a good candidate for the TV booth once his playing career is over.

During Friday's second round of the Qatar Masters, Quiros mis-hit his second shot into the par-5 ninth hole at Doha Golf Club. And the Spaniard offered a brutal — yet, somewhat poetic — assessment of the result. Have a look and listen:

As you can see, Alvaro is a tough judge, because that was a pretty good shot! Quiros failed to get up and down for birdie, but he currently sits just three shots back heading into the weekend.
“Disgraceful, I would say,” Quiros quips of the shot. “If I have to hate it, I hate it with all my heart.” Well said, Alvaro, but a tad dramatic. And you thought Johnny Miller was tough on golfers.

The world will finally bask in the glorious light of ‘Rush Hour 4’
The ground shook, the seas parted, and the sky spoke: LET THERE BE RUSH HOUR 4 it said. And so it was…well according to Chris Tucker at least.
https://twitter.com/SheKnowsSports_/status/966396573864333312
On Thursday morning, the comedian took to ESPN's podcast The Plug to, as far as we can tell, express his openness to any and all available work, should anybody be looking for an actor or stunt double or boom-mic operator or caterer, and in the process let one pretty significant cat out of the bag: Rush Hour 4 is a go, with both him and Jackie Chan set to reprise their roles as Detective Carter and Inspector Lee. Cue dancing gif:
FacebookPinterestBeyond that, details are scant, with production rumored to begin in 2018, a year in which Tucker will turn 47 and Chan an astounding 64, raising some very real concerns about the dad-joke-to-karate-kick ratio. That said, all it has to do is top the 18% its predecessor—a film Ebert & Roeper once called “so cartoonishly stupid it makes th..
Here’s why you should bet your entire paycheck on LeBron James and the Cavs on Thursday night
Joe MurphyIn case you missed the busy NBA trade deadline (allow this Jazz fan to get you up to speed), there's only one thing you need to know heading into the home stretch of the season: the Cleveland Cavaliers got a LOT better. GM LeBron James' new acquisitions may have played only two games alongside the King so far, but they were very impressive in both contests, beating the Celtics 121-99 in Boston and following it up with a 120-112 victory over the Thunder in Oklahoma City. The back-to-back wins extended Cleveland's streak to four straight as the team headed into the NBA All-Star break.
Some would argue that the break could kill some much needed momentum for the Cavs, who had just lost 12 of their last 18 prior to ripping off four in a row. Could they possibly keep it rolling nine days since they last played together on Thursday night at home against the Washington Wizards? According to this stat from the ESPN Stats & Info Twitter account, not only will LeBron & co..
10 all-time great athletic couples, and how they made each other better athletes
Chris CondonAfter missing much of the past couple years with back injuries, Tiger Woods is back playing and receiving his usual massive media coverage. His former partner of nearly three years, Lindsey Vonn, also received good attention when she competed in her fourth Olympics this month and at 33, became the oldest woman to medal in alpine skiing.
They were two of the greatest athletes to ever be a couple – until they broke up in 2015.
Fortunately, there are other great athletic couples. Here are some notable ones, albeit many of them are retired from their sports. As several of them have said, however, being a couple can make you even better in your sport.

Guy wins $25K for making a layup, free-throw, three-pointer, and half-court shot in 25 seconds
If there's one gift that keeps on giving here at The Loop, it's grainy cell phone videos of random heroes winning tons of money by performing unlikely feats of athleticism in dimly lit gymnasiums across America. Earlier this week, we brought you this guy, who drained a 120-foot put at the Minnesota Golf Show to win a $75,000-dollar pontoon boat and $25,000 cash, but now a new contender for Champion Dude Who Suddenly Has to Pay A Sh*t Ton in Gift Tax has stepped into the ring. Check it out:

That's Texas A&M International University senior Kyle Kieshnick, who pocketed a cool 25K on Wednesday night by hitting a layup, free-throw, three-pointer, and half-court shot in the Steph Curry Warm-Up Progressive Shot Challenge…all in under 25 seconds. While Kieshnick's cool/calm/collected approach makes this look like a walk in the park, we assure you it isn't. And if you don't believe us, here's a lis..
Here’s a story about Tiger Woods, playing through, and talking trash to Jason Dufner
Warren Little/Getty ImagesTiger Woods addresses the media during a Tuesday press conference ahead of the 2018 Genesis Open at the Riviera Country Club. For hockey fans, the Spittin' Chiclets podcast has become an essential listen thanks to co-host Ryan Whitney, an irreverent former NHL defenseman who now has enough time in retirement to indulge his passion for golf. The game comes up often in Whitney's conversations with hockey stars and his co-hosts, and the other day he told about a trip to Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Fla., alongside fellow Massachusetts native and former tour player James Driscoll.
Told the night before at dinner that Tiger Woods, who plays and practices out of Medalist, had been out at the club the previous three days, Whitney was hopeful that he would cross paths with the legend the next day on the course. Sure enough, when Whitney and Driscoll arrived for their round, they were told Woods had teed off 15 minutes earlier alongside Jason Dufner and A..
