(Photo by Minas Panagiotakis/Getty Images)Bubba Watson has seen his share of struggles the last few years, but the two-time Masters champ remains one of the most recognizable names inside the ropes. Now he's taking that popularity to the hardwood.
The NBA announced on Wednesday that Watson will be part of the league's Celebrity Game during All-Star Weekend. The contest will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. Convenient for Watson, as he's scheduled to play in the Genesis Open right down the road at Riviera. It's a tournament he's captured twice, the 2016 victory doubling as his last win on tour.
Watson is a basketball fan, often making courtside appearances at NBA games. His wife Angie played on the University of Georgia ..

Cox/Getty ImagesJason Day celebrates on the 18th green with his wife, Ellie, after winning the 2015 PGA Championship.Jason Day’s wife, Ellie, is a big fan of “The Bachelor.” She’s hardly alone with the show drawing millions of viewers each week. So imagine her excitement when she found out that her husband will be playing with the show’s host, Chris Harrison, this week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

“She watches it every Monday religiously,” Day noted this week on the Monterey Peninsula.
As for Jason, well, lets just say he still needs to be sold on the show.
“When I hear the stuff that comes out of these people’s mouths, I just walk out shaking my head sometimes. It’s a pretty entertaining show, if you get down to sit and watch it, but I can’t get hooked on it.”

Graham DeLaet on UFO sighting: “Freakiest thing I’ve ever seen”

Stuart FranklinGraham DeLaet is an entertaining follow on Twitter, brandishing a wit few on tour possess. However, DeLaet's feed was captivating for another reason on Tuesday night: the Canadian pro reported a UFO sighting, backing up his testimony with video.

While we're not here to debate the existence of extraterrestrial life (although if you've seen Independence Day, then you clearly know what's up), some of DeLaet's followers noted the UFO was likely part of the Falcon Heavy launch from SpaceX. An observation DeLaet seemed to take in stride.

Sadly, not a single smart-ass claimed the UFO in question was a Rory McIlroy drive. We're better than that, you guys.

LeBron James’ hand-picked All-Star team is now officially cursed

Mark SobhaniAfter a promising 24-9 start to the season for LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team has fallen off a cliff, hitting every rock and extended tree limb on the way down. They've gone 6-13 since, including an embarrassing 148-124 home loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on January 20 and an equally-bad/possibly-worse 120-88 home loss to the Houston Rockets last Saturday night. Didn't think it could get any worse? Oh boy, were you mistaken.
On a random Tuesday night in the NBA, the black cloud hovering over LeBron's head got infinitely darker, and then it began to torrentially downpour. The Cavs were in Orlando looking for a bounce-back win over the Magic, the second-worst team in the league with a record of 17-36. Cleveland cruised to a 61-40 lead late in the first half, and then proceeded to choke in epic fashion, eventually losing the game 116-98 for their ninth loss in their last 13 games. Meanwhile in New York, the curse of LeBron struck again, wh..

Labatt is selling these USA Hockey-themed beer cans and we need them STAT

There are a lot of unknowns heading into this Olympic men's hockey competition, the first without NHL players in 24 years. We don't know the names of the most of the players. We don't if the US has a speck of a chance. We don't know what to make of Russia, especially since they can't even be technically called Russia.
The only thing for sure is that these USA Hockey-themed beer cans issued by Labatt need to be a vital part of the Olympic hockey viewing experience.

Now, here's the part where we should remind you that Pyeongchang, South Korea is halfway around the world and most of the games will be played in the early morning in the U.S. (the Americans open next Wednesday at 7:10 a.m. ET against Slovenia). By that measure, a USA Hockey-themed cup of Dunkin' Donuts, or perhaps USA-engraved Eggo waffles, might be more appropriate. But that's lame, and frankly the U.S. men aren't considered..

Giannis Antetokounmpo hurdles over helpless Knicks player/prop for NBA dunk of the year

Giannis Antetokounmpo was on the rare receiving end of a posterizing dunk when Kristaps Porzingis put one on him (Of course, Porzingis also tore his ACL on the play because the Knicks are cursed and I don't want to talk about it) during the second quarter of Tuesday night's game against the Knicks. It didn't take him long to respond with one of his own highlights. In fact, we're going to declare this jam over Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. the NBA's dunk of the year because the Greek Freak literally jumped over him. Check it out:
https://twitter.com/bleacherreport/status/961059845804666880
Good lord, Giannis has hops. There were some shades of Vince Carter at the 2000 Olympics when he jumped over 7-foot-2 Frederic Weiss for arguably the greatest dunk in basketball history:
The Knicks had drafted Weiss (over Ron Artest) the previous year, and the Frenchman never played a game in the NBA. Again, the Knicks are cursed and I don't want to talk about it.
But I&#..
