When the LPGA instituted a stricter dress code in July, Michelle Wie called it “unfortunate.” Several months later, it appears Wie's opinion on the matter hasn't changed.
Wie is enjoying her offseason at home in Hawaii, sharing photos on Instagram of her hiking, surfing, and lounging at the beach. But on Wednesday, she fit a little golf into her schedule. And she took the opportunity to squeeze a playful little jab at the LPGA into her caption. Check it out:

It's unknown whether Wie has ever been fined by the LPGA for a dress code violation. What is known, however, is that players are also not allowed to bring a pets on the course during a tournament. Damn rules.
Wie isn't the first LPGA star to poke fun at the new guidelines. Just days after they became official, Lexi Thompson posted a feisty photo caption of her own.

There’s a Georgia fan driving around ATL playing the SEC Championship on a TV strapped to his Hummer
If you thought the pajama guy standing in the driveway shouting at his Auburn neighbor from a PA system at 8 am on Sunday morning was the biggest Georgia fan on earth, then we raise you this Boss Dawg, who strapped a flatscreen TV to the back of his Hummer and has spent the four days since the SEC Championship driving around Atlanta blasting the game into the eye sockets of every commuter in the downtown area.

How is this legal? Is it hooked up to an actual cable box? Has there been a Tigers-related road rage incident yet? If so, did he “whip the dog crap” out of them? Needless to say, we have more questions than answers at this point, but for now let's all just sit back and marvel at the triumphant, glorious stupidity of fandom. Long may it reign.
LeBron James LOL’d when asked about his latest “tribute” to Michael Jordan
Anything LeBron James says or does these days is news. Heck, we even freaked out when he recently led his Cleveland Cavaliers on quick NYC subway trip. But someone apparently took stretching something for a story to a new level following James' performance against the Chicago Bulls on Monday night.
The Cavs won 113-91 and James scored 23 of those points, which had people wondering if he had scored that precise amount on purpose as some sort of tribute to Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who wore the No. 23. If that sounds ridiculous to you, it should. Because it's ridiculous.

Yeah, LeBron really made a statement by dropping 23 points — 5 below his season average — against a team with the worst record in the NBA in a meaningless game in early December. What would that even prove?! He also had six assists. Hey, maybe that was in honor of the six titles that MJ's Bulls won? Wake up, people!

Lexi Thompson used her $1 million bonus on a souped-up car
Lexi Thompson's 2017 will be remembered as an emotional roller coaster ride. Yet the 22-year-old still enjoyed a wealth of prosperity, winning twice and capturing the LPGA Vare Trophy and Race to the CME Globe. For her Glove triumph, Thompson received a $1 million bonus, a prize that, judging by her Instagram account, was used judiciously: on a souped-up car.

The starting cost for a Nissan GTR hovers around $110,000. A price tag that would make a mighty dent in most bank accounts. But, come on, you're not NOT going to Treat Yo Self after winning a cool million.

Jordan Spieth takes playful jab at Tiger Woods over his TV ratings
Scott HalleranJERSEY CITY, NJ – SEPTEMBER 30: Jordan Spieth of the U.S. Team and Tiger Woods, Captains Assistant of the U.S. Team on the course during the afternoon four-ball matches at the Presidents Cup at Liberty National Golf Club on September 30, 2017, in Jersey City, New Jersey. (Photo by Scott Halleran/PGA TOUR)One of the most interesting subplots of Tiger Woods' latest return to golf is how he'll fit in with the young group of stars that has taken over the game in his absence. Stints as assistant captain by Woods at both the 2016 Ryder Cup and 2017 Presidents Cup gave golf fans a window into how much he gets along with these whippersnappers and how much they respect him. Tiger teeing it up again for real, though, has brought out the feisty — but fun — side of this new generation.

Serge Ibaka dropped a Dikembe Mutombo finger wave in front of Dikembe Mutombo, and it was spectacular
J. Countess(Photo by J. Countess/Getty Images)Dikembe Mutombo is more god than man. From his humanitarian work to his notorious flying elbows to dropping the greatest pick-up line in the Western canon, the Hall of Fame center is truly larger than life. Even though Mutombo has been retired since 2009, that position still holds true, evidenced in this fantastic video from Wednesday night.
Mutombo was sitting courtside for the Toronto Raptors' matchup against the Phoenix Suns when Toronto's Serge Ibaka sent Alex Len's shot back to the kitchen. Following said block, Ibaka dropped Mutombo's famous finger wave towards the crowd, a gesture that delighted Mutombo to no end.

May we all find something in life that brings us as much joy.
A $65 million deal for a power forward that averages less than six boards a game might seem like a disaster. But Ibaka earned every dime of that contract last night.

New St. Louis Cardinals pitcher is nicknamed “Lizard King” for a pretty gross reason
Rick YeattsARLINGTON, TX – JULY 27: Miles Mikolas #36 of the Texas Rangers throws in the first inning against the Oakland Athletics at Globe Life Park in Arlington on July 27, 2014 in Arlington, Texas. (Photo by Rick Yeatts/Getty Images)The road to the MLB for a struggling pitcher can be a winding one. Most guys with dreams of making it to the show will go just about anywhere, and try just about anything to get there. Miles Mikolas, a 29-year-old right-hander from Jupiter, Fla., is the shining example of this.
Mikolas has already had a few chances in the bigs, 37 appearances to be exact, 27 of them with the San Diego Padres and 10 of them with the Texas Rangers, a team he last pitched for on August 25, 2014. After being released Mikolas went to Japan, where he spent three seasons on the Yomiuri Giants and impressed enough there to earn a two-year, $15.5 million contract with the St. Louis Cardinals this week. Not bad for a guy who has been everywhere and back all in the matter of seven..
These photos of Joel Embiid and Jose Altuve at the SI Awards are absolute gold
Sixers center and part-time social media consultant Joel Embiid is seven feet tall. AL MVP and Astros hero Jose Altuve is 5' 6″. Together, as one particularly genius photographer discovered at Tuesday night's annual SI Sportsperson of the Year awards, they are a delightfully hilarious buddy-cop duo. Check out the mind-boggling exercise in contrasts below:

Embiid is the good cop who does things by the book. Altuve is an off-the-rails wild card who will do anything to get his man. Sure, sometimes Altuve worries about his partner's one weakness—the ladies—and Embiid wishes Altuve would stop leaving half-eaten donuts on his desk, but together they are the best detective team in [spins America's hippest new city wheel] NASHVILLE!

The Ball family is officially toast thanks to this wicked burn from…a Lithuanian coach
Jayne Kamin-Oncea (Photo by Jayne Kamin-Oncea/Getty Images)LaVar Ball is the bane of our society, the lovechild of Skip Bayless and a roadside dirty diaper come to life. Alas, there is no ad-blocker for Ball stories on your television or Twitter feeds, his daily nonsense shoved down your throat whether you like it or not.
But rest assured, this Ball tale goes down smooth.
To catch you up to speed in case you've been living your life, LaVar removed LiAngelo (a.k.a the one who got caught shoplifting in China) from UCLA this week to prepare LiAngelo for the NBA Draft. A bit confusing, given, well, LiAngelo is not considered a pro prospect. This after LaVar pulled 16-year-old LaMelo from high school earlier this fall so he could focus on professional aspirations as well. As LaVar wants his sons to play together, finding a landing spot has been a rough go. But, according to a Yahoo report, Lietkabelis of the Lithuanian Basketball League has reached out with interest in the Ball boys.
