Tyrrell Hatton has won almost $2 million the past two weeks, celebrates with Burger King

It has been quite the two-week stretch for Tyrrell Hatton. A week after breaking the course record at St. Andrews with a final-round 61 to defend his title at the Alfred Dunhill Links, Hatton made it back-to-back wins with his victory at the Italian Open on Sunday.
The Englishman shot a final-round 65 for the win. Oh, and it was Hatton's birthday this weekend, too. Who's had a better month than this guy?
So how did Hatton celebrate his latest feat? With a combined €1.666 million in event earnings—the equivalent of almost $2 million—you'd think the 26-year-old would choose an extravagant meal to mark the occasion.
Not for Hatton — the Italian Open champ kept it simple — dining at Burger King on Sunday night after the title, choosing a Whopper over a lobster.

We applaud Hatton for kicking it like an ordinary Joe. He surely won over some fans with that tweet. And we have a feeling the real celebration will come ev..

Russell Westbrook and Nick Collison’s “White Men Can’t Jump” costume is the best Halloween costume ever

Last Wednesday, I revealed my utter disdain for Halloween, triggered by these two grown men dressing like it was 1908 at the Cubs game, face paint and all. Adults dressing up on Halloween will never not creep me out.
HOWEVA, exceptions can be made, especially when it comes to this “White Men Can't Jump” costume from Oklahoma City Thunder teammates Russell Westbrook and Nick Collison, which is already the best Halloween costume of the year, and maybe of all time.

Nothing but respect for this attention to detail, they even got the girlfriends down to a T. Also helps when you're even more ripped then Wesley Snipes was in that movie.

Not sure if Collison and Russ have any acting background, but these pictures have sequel written all over them. Someone in Hollywood is dumb enough to do it, and most of us would be dumb enough to go see it.

England’s Hatton wins Italian Open for 2nd straight title

MONZA, Italy (AP) Tyrrell Hatton sunk a 15-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to win the Italian Open on Sunday for his second European Tour victory in two weeks.

Last week, Hatton retained his title at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the storied Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland.

Now the Englishman is up to fifth in the Race to Dubai rankings.

It looked like Hatton was heading for a three-man playoff before he rolled his final putt into the bottom of the cup and unleashed a series of fist pumps to celebrate the Rolex Series victory.

”I had a good feeling standing over it, even though my hands were shaking and my knees were shaking,” Hatton said.

A day after celebrating his 26th birthday, Hatton birdied five of the last seven holes for a bogey-free 65 to finish at 21 under.

”It was a battle with myself today,” said Hatton, who had a slow front nine. ”But my caddie kept saying it would come in the end and it did. … I got a hot streak with the putter, which helps ..

Pat Perez wins CIMB Classic by 4 strokes

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) American Pat Perez won the PGA Tour’s CIMB Classic, claiming a four-shot victory over compatriot Keegan Bradley on Sunday at TPC Kuala Lumpur.

He sealed his first title in almost a year despite carding a modest three-under 69 in the final round, courtesy of a strong start with three birdies in the first four holes.

The 41-year-old only managed to make par on the back nine, but did enough to finish the tournament with a 24-under 264 to take home the $1.26 million prize purse and 500 FedEX Cup points.

Victory also earned him an automatic entry for next year’s Masters in April.

Perez’s feat comes after a long recovery from a shoulder injury last year that threatened to derail his career.

The bulky golfer admitted he never expected to reign supreme in the sweltering conditions in Kuala Lumpur.

”Unreal. I think I’m the last guy that expected to win this week, to be honest with you. I did not think I was going to win this week,” Perez said. ”I really c..

Ko fires 68 to clinch 1st LPGA Tour victory on home soil

INCHEON, South Korea (AP) South Korean Jin Young Ko overcame a sluggish start to clinch her first LPGA Tour victory at the KEB Hana Bank Championship on Sunday.

Ko, who had been two strokes in front overnight, bogeyed two of the first three holes at the Ocean Course before carding six birdies for a 68 and a 19-under total of 269.

Sung Hyun Park, seeking her third LPGA Tour victory of the year and the chance to take over at the top of the Rolex Rankings for the first time, was denied both goals after closing with a 68 and finishing two shots behind Ko.

Park played flawless golf over the first 13 holes with four birdies, but a three-putt bogey at the 14th effectively halted her title bid.

Montgomerie said he places a high value on playing well entering the playoffs, especially after injuries caused him to start the season slowly, and joked that the goal for him and everybody else on tour is to catch money le..

Wallace holds 2-stroke lead after 3rd round of Italian Open

MONZA, Italy (AP) Matt Wallace held a two-stroke lead after the third round of the Italian Open on Saturday as the Englishman seeks a wire-to-wire victory.

Defending champion and home favorite Francesco Molinari stood two strokes back along with Tyrrell Hatton, last week’s winner of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Wallace sunk five birdies and had only one bogey before pulling off a difficult par save after driving into the trees at the 18th to stay at 17 under.

”That was the only bad drive I hit this week,” Wallace said. ”I got it out onto the fairway and that’s where I knuckled down and really showed what this game means to me.”

Wallace claimed his first European Tour title at the Open de Portugal in May. Now he’s seeking his first Rolex Series victory this weekend, in a tournament that features an increased purse of $7 million as part of the buildup to the 2022 Ryder Cup outside Rome.

Molinari, meanwhile, is enjoying large crowd support with no entrance fees at the ..
