So far, the 2017-'18 season has been another one featuring growing pains for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they continue a rebuild five years in the making. But after a stretch where they lost nine straight games from late December into early January, the Lakers have rebounded with some of their better basketball of the year, winning five of the last seven.

One of those victories came on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers, a 99-86 win in which Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson led the way with a season-high 33 points on 14-of-19 shooting, to go with seven assists and seven rebounds. He also went 2-for-3 from the free throw line, which normally wouldn't be a stat you'd even consider mentioning when looking at his line. Except they were the only two free throws the team made, out of 14, giving them a 14.3 percent mark at the line. That is the worst free throw percentage for a team in one game in NBA history, and they still WON BY 13.

Can't figure out what's worse. Being an NBA team and going 2-for-14 at the line, or losing to a team by 13 points that went 2-for-14 at the line. Not a great look for the Indiana Pacers, but understandable considering it was the fourth game of a dreaded five-game West Coast road trip. Quite the performance for both teams with such huge celebrities in attendance:
