Making a hole-in-one is a rare feat, no matter if you're a high handicapper or one of the best players in the world. There are no rules on how one should celebrate the accomplishment, except for that whacky one that requires you, the maker of said ace, to buy the drinks for everyone. Seems fair!

Whether or not you go crazy, scream your head off, do a few laps around the tee box or act like you've been there before is entirely up to you. For Brooke Henderson, she has been there before, five times in her career in fact. So when she made her sixth ace on Friday at the RICOH Women's British Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes, it was business as usual. A simple, 141-yard 9-iron at the par-3 ninth that took one hop into the cup and yielded a "did I do that?" look and a few high fives from the 20-year-old rising Canadian star, who currently sits five off the lead through two rounds. We say this in the most respectful way possible, but has anyone ever been less excited about a hole-in-one than Henderson was here? Brooke, it's the British Open! Go wild! Do a backflip! Anything. To be fair, it's possible that she may not have seen it, which could take some air out of the balloon. Or, this being her second ace in a major (we're not jealous), perhaps you just expect them to go in when you're as good as Henderson. And she was all smiles afterwards, so maybe it's just sinking in.

But, for comparison's sake, let's take a look at some of the better hole-in-one celebrations, starting with Matt Kuchar's very on-brand raise the roof at the WGC-Match Play in March:

Then there was former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy celebrating his first ace like a kid in a candy store last week:

Jack Nicklaus' grandson going bananas at Augusta during the par-3 contest in April:

Later that week, Charley Hoffman saw Kuchar's raise the roof and raised it by instead bringing the roof down:

And how could we forget arguably the GOAT of hole-in-one cellys, Willy Wilcox at TPC Sawgrass in 2016:

Unfair to compare any celebration ever to that. I guess what we're really saying is, we all wish we could celebrate aces the way Brooke Henderson does, by acting like we've done it before (which we haven't).
