Jägermeister Cold Brew is the new most important meal of the day

You've been hearing it since you were sucking down Fruity Pebbles: Breakfast is the most important a meal of the day—an opportunity refill the tanks, recharge the batteries, and rectify any sort of wrong-side-of-the-bed scenario. And apparently Jägermeister—the headbanging German liqueur best known for its unlikely kinship with Red Bull—also got the message, taking the “complete breakfast” to its logical extreme with the unveiling their brand new Jägermeister Cold Brew this week. Take your avocado toast and shove it, snowflakes.
FacebookPinterestJoining PBR hard coffee on the boozy brunch beverage menu, Jäger's new magic blackout potion is concocted from the brand's classic 56-ingredient blend of “herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits,” plus an injection real of Arabica coffee and cacao. Just don't go stumbling into any reputable hair-of-dog establishment on Saturday afternoon expecting a frosty pint glass full of the stuff like a traditional cold brew. Clocking in at ..

Lance Lynn tells ump ‘we’ve got a plane to catch’ mid-game, ump looks just as confused as you

The dog days of summer are now long gone for many MLB teams, but now comes the final stretch of September, when your club is well aware if it's still in the hunt or completely out of it. Texas Rangers pitcher Lance Lynn sounds like a guy who knows exactly where his team is going, which, at 68-73, is nowhere, and he's not afraid to be very up front about it.
On Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium, where Lynn started the rubber game against the Bronx Bombers, the pitcher had one of the more peculiar exchanges you'll see with an umpire all season. Apparently, the home-plate ump kept taking balls out of play, which irked both Lynn and Rangers manager Chris Woodward. After Woodward questioned the move, Lynn could be heard on the broadcast yelling at the ump. Here's what he had to say, courtesy of @Jomboy (as always):

Not surprisingly, the umpire is just as confused as the rest of us, though he wasn't making much s..

Alex Caruso receives “random” drug test after photoshopped image of him in the gym goes viral

Alex Caruso is not what you call ripped. Athletic? Maybe. Lanky? Absolutely. But ripped? No, definitely not ripped. Just try telling that to the internet at large, however, who were reeled in like Jaws on a cheat day when INSANELY jacked photos of the Lakers point guard surfaced online last week. As it turns out, the photos were Photoshopped, but because we all want to believe good things are still possible in this world, we ignored the little voice of reason in the back our heads telling us that something wasn't quite right. For example, this is what Caruso looked like last season…

Remember how Captain America looked before and after they shoved him in the superhero machine? That's pretty much what's going on here. In fact, the only earthly explanations for Caruso's transformation are ..

The New York backpages after the Mets’ historic choke are beyond brutal

Tuesday night was a bad night to be a New York Mets fan. Aren't they all, you'll guffaw from beneath your $500 Dolce & Gabbana Yankees cap, blissfully unaware of things like pain, self-doubt and something called “budgets” (there you go, sound it out), but trust us when we say this one was not like the others. It was much, much worse. Up 10-4 headed into the bottom of the ninth with Nationals Park still reeling from a Pete Alonso-punctuated Metropolitans five-spot in the top of the inning, the Mets' expired cottage cheese tub of a bullpen proceeded to throw away the surest of sure things, culminating with a three-run Kurt Suzuki homer off, you guessed it, Edwin Diaz to complete the least likely comeback in the majors this season and probably a few before that as well.
If you thought the night was bad, however, the dawn offered little respite, with Mets fans waking up to one of their most time-honored pity parties: The New York backpage teardown, a tradition as old as the ..
