Rory McIlroy tee shot at Omega European Masters interrupted by…paragliders?

As the old saying goes, there's no rest for the wicked freaking good at golf (or something like that.) Just ask Rory McIlroy, who touched down in Switzerland just days after his FedEx Cup triumph to smack it around the Omega European Masters and even hook up the other JT with a bunker lesson or two in his spare time. As it turned out, however, McIlroy wasn't the only one making an entrance at Crans-sur-Sierre this week, with the 2019 tour champ forced to back off his tee shot on the par-3 8th on Thursday thanks to a pair of paragliders swooping in for an unannounced landing. Seriously, if there's a better encapsulation of what makes the European Tour so great, we have yet to see it.

In the pantheon of thing you'd expect to interrupt your tee shot—cellphones, gators, jilted exes, the yips—paragliders are pretty far down the list, somewhere between maladjusted Shooter McGavin fans in yellow Volkswagen Beetles..

Of course Shaq owns a smart car that he barely fits in and drives it around New York City

Shaquille O'Neal's post-basketball career has seemingly been one big running joke. It's included him saying whatever the hell he wants on national TV (inspired by Chuck, of course), purchasing a treehouse with a mural of himself in it and telling Barkley to “Google me Chuck” on numerous occasions. It's reached the point where it's hard to tell when he's being serious or just messing around, because it's usually almost always the latter.
RELATED: Dear Shaq, please stop Instagramming while driving
That's why when I first came across this video of Shaq stuffing himself in a smart car, my first thought was it was a joke and he was just screwing with the guy filming him. Turns out not only did he fit in the smart car, but he drove off in it in what is one of the great athletic feats of our time:

Lot to unpack here. We'll start with the guy doing the filming. Hey man, SHUT THE F— UP. We..

Old video surfaces of tour pro snapping driver over knee, cursing himself out for hitting poor tee shot

We doubt you'll find a nicer, calmer guy on the PGA Tour than Adam Hadwin, but golf is a game that can bring out rage in even the most mild-mannered of humans. Sometimes, it just causes you to lose your sh-t every once in awhile, and there's nothing wrong with that.
That's what happened to Hadwin earlier this season at the Wells Fargo Championship, where the 31-year-old Canadian might have placed inside the top 10 if not for one pesky hole. In the video below, Hadwin can be seen pulling his tee shot left and immediately saying “for f—ing four days in a row, I mean honestly…” Right after that came the epic club snap. Have a watch:

Man, did not see that coming from Hadwin. It's quite difficult to tell which hole this is based on the video, but fellow tour pro Patton Kizzire had an inkling it was the ninth when he commented on Zire Golf's Instagram post of the video:

Justin Bieber responds to Indians pitcher Shane Bieber’s Players Weekend jersey with hilarious jersey of his own

This past weekend was “Players Weekend” in the MLB, a new annual event in which grown men put nicknames on the back of their jerseys like a bunch of 12-year-olds. This “Players Weekend” was somehow worse than the first, as the MLB replaced last year's jerseys, which were unique to each team, with strictly all black jerseys for the away teams and all white for the home teams.
The jerseys were deservedly roasted across social media, and even players and managers got their shots in. Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona provided the best quote, saying “What’s the slogan, ‘Let the kids play?’ Let the grown-ups look like morons.” He hated them so much that he didn't want to go out and make pitching changes because he didn't want to be seen in public. The sport's two most iconic franchises, the Dodgers and Yankees, who each have one of the best jerseys in all of sports, happened to be playing in L.A., and the Dodgers asked if they could wear their normal threads for on..
