LeBron James Jr.’s high school squad might be basketball’s most entertaining team

Admittedly, I'm a huge LeBron James fan, and in the twilight of his career (maybe not, the dude's a freak of nature) I've started following the development of his two “Young Kings,” hoping they can be the heir to his NBA throne someday. LeBron James Jr., AKA Bronny, is coming first. And as you can imagine, considering his dad recently started a silly media storm by losing his shoe running onto the court during one of Bronny's AAU games, we will hear about his every move.

Bronny's exposure (the 14-year-old already has more than three million Instagram followers—sheesh) will be ramped up even more for his freshman year in high school after deciding to take his talents to Sierra Canyon. Seriously, look at this kid!

Anyway, the Chatsworth, Calif., high school is a basketball powerhouse, and the roster this season is looking more and..

Tin Cup’s most famous hole should be on every golfer’s bucket list

As one of golf's most beloved movies turns 23 years old today (“Tin Cup” was released on this date in 1996), we'd like to wax some nostalgia on the cinderella story of Roy McAvoy, played gloriously by Kevin Costner, but also remind golfers that they must make a pilgrimage at some point in their lives.
Yes, the famous par 5 that is used as the 72nd hole of the U.S. Open during “Tin Cup” still exists, and it's almost unchanged from what it looked like when McAvoy played it back then. Deerwood Country Club is a ClubCorp-operated private club in the quiet woods of Northeast Houston (Kingwood, Texas), and its 13th hole is in fact the site of the famous “Tin Cup” scene.

Pretty cool—the producers didn't change the hole at all. There's even..

According to Bryce Harper, Bryce Harper’s parents left the game before he hit an insane walk-off grand slam

Bryce Harper gets ragged on quite a bit on social media for being “overrated,” which is automatically the label placed upon you when you make as much money as he does and hit for an average of .245. On Thursday night he proved with one swing of the bat why he's (a) worth every penny, and (b) most certainly NOT overrated, shutting up the haters and causing John Kruk to lose his sh-t in the booth in the process. You've seen it already, I've seen it already, but let's watch it together again for the 100th time:

You cannot hit a more majestic homer in a bigger spot than that one. Down two runs in the bottom of the ninth, with the bases loaded, with an out against a lefty. Oh, and did we mention that before this pitch, the Philadelphia Phillies were two back of the Chicago Cubs for the second wild card, and in danger of going down three games? Harper's grand slam has pulled them within one of the Cubbies and ..

The best part of Bryce Harper’s walk-off Grand Slam was John Kruk’s (immediate) reaction

Bryce Harper has not performed quite as well as Philadelphia Phillies fans expected since signing that historic $330 million contract in the off-season. But the good thing about a 13(!)-year deal is you have plenty of time to prove your worth.

Harper has started to do that of late and on Thursday night he delivered his best moment so far in the City of Brotherly Love. Harper crushed—and we mean CRUSHED—a walk-off Grand Slam to beat the Chicago Cubs. Just as entertaining, however, was the immediate reaction by former Phillies fan favorite turned analyst John Kruk. Have a watch and listen:

So good. And here it is on a loop:

It's tough to tell if Kruk blurts out “Oh my god!” or “Oh my gosh!” but either way, it's fantastic.
Rough week for the Cubs, by the way. On Monday, they were vi..
