Korn Ferry Tour player makes hole-in-one beside sweet BMW SUV, bummed to learn it wasn’t a prize for an ace

We’ve seen it plenty of times, from charity outings to tour events and everything in between—a shiny new car perched behind the tee of a par 3, a prize for some lucky soul should they achieve one of golf’s great miracles, a hole-in-one. So imagine Chris Naegel’s delight on Sunday afternoon when he aced the 150-yard 12th hole at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club during the final round of the Korn Ferry Tour’s season finale, the WinCo Foods Portland Open.

Not only was there the obvious jubilation from making a hole-in-one, but also what appeared to be a swanky new ride, a BMW X7 luxury SUV that was parked behind the tee. It would make for a nice (and useful) consolation for the 36-year-old with just $172,000 in career earnings over parts of six seasons on the developmental circuit.
Except it turns out it wasn’t.
“Yes I made a hole in 1…no I did not get the car,” Naegel tweeted. “And I’m with all of you out there…not sure why there’s a ..

A way, way, wayyyy too early look at the best MLB Opening Day games of 2020

It's August. Let that sink in for a moment. The MLB is only just now flicking the nitrous switch on its neon green Mitsubishi Eclipse, if you'll excuse the metaphor of a man who clearly saw Hobbs & Shaw this weekend. Since we're still talking about summer 2019 blockbusters, it's safe to say it's wayyyy too early to be thinking about 2020 baseball, but here we are all the same. On Monday, Major League Baseball unveiled its complete 2020 schedule, and when something like that drops in your lap, you're not not going to look at it. So even though we don't know the Wild Cards from the also-rans and the contenders from the Wild Cards—even though we're still a month from knowing who the September call-ups will be or if a new Mr. October (to say nothing of Mr. November) will emerge—we decided to break down the best games from Opening Day 2020. If loving baseball is crazy, we don't want to be sane.

Nate Robinson and Big Baby Davis star in basketball highlight of the summer (no, it’s not 2009)

Mike EhrmannHow do you get your summer basketball fix? WNBA? G-League? The Basketball Tournament? Do you let the dulcet tones of Woj's voice lull you into a sweet, sound slumber until October? Well, if you answered any of the above, you're doing it wrong, because as this absolutely electrifying, impossibly hilarious of highlight of two of the NBA's most lovable stars of yesteryear, Nate Robinson and Glenn “Big Baby” Davis, going toe-to-toe on a game-deciding possession proves, there is but one correct answer:
Big3, baby.

RELATED: Nate Robinson looks like he could still win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest
This is the best game-winner we've seen since Dame wiped Oklahoma City off the basketball map. With the game on the line, poor Big Baby gets switched onto Nate Robinson at the top of the arc. In the span of about three seconds, Big Baby ends up flat on his stomach, scrambles back to his feet and stumbles into R..

Michelle Wie married Jonnie West in Los Angeles, and here are all the pics so far

Michelle Wie married Jonnie West in Los Angeles on Saturday, five months after announcing their engagement in March. West is an executive for the Golden State Warriors and the son of NBA legend Jerry West. Wie is taking a break from golf to let her wrist heal, but there were plenty of LPGA players present at the wedding. Thanks to their Instagram posts, and those of other guests, we're able to take a look into the festivities.
