Asian Tour pro wins $130,000 BMW with wild ace at BMW International Open

While much of the golf world has its eyes on the professional debuts of Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff up at TPC River Highlands this week, over in Germany the BMW International Open is already in full swing. A recently resurgent Martin Kaymer is hovering around the top of his homeland's most prized leaderboard, but on Friday it was Asian Tour pro Gaganjeet Bhullar who stole the headlines and highlight reels with one of the most lucrative aces in recent memory, trickling one in on the par-3 17th to win a shiny new Beemer. Sure beats the courtesy car, huh Jeets? (Can we call you that?)

The usual hole-in-one accoutrement of high fives and handshakes was, of course, in order, but all of that pales in comparison to the car—the brand new 2019 BMW M8 Coupe. Featuring a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 that pumps out a very healthy 617 hp, the M spec of BMW's new flagship series can hit 0-60 mph in 3 seconds flat on its way..

Watch Bubba Watson’s son nearly end Brandt Snedeker’s season with vicious line drive

On Thursday morning, Brandt Snedeker got off to a solid start at the 2019 Travelers Championship by shooting a two-under 68. On Thursday night, the nine-time PGA Tour winner nearly had his season ended by Bubba Watson. Actually, make that Bubba Watson's son.
Snedeker and Watson, who opened with 69, were involved in a fun game of wiffle ball after their first rounds at TPC River Highland when Caleb Watson hit a vicious line drive off Snedeker. Like his dad, it looks like Caleb has great hand-eye coordination and some serious pop. Check it out:

Of course, Sneds was fine. But these guys might want to use a pitcher's net next time.
Also, Caleb wasn't the only youngster getting some good cracks in. Here's a video from the PGA Tour that shows Bubba getting taken deep by Josh Teater's son, Bain:

In addition to being a two-time Masters champ, Watson is a mi..

NBA 1st-round pick Dylan Windler is also a golf trick shot artist who had PGA Tour dreams

If there are any members of the Cleveland Cavaliers who still play golf in the post-J.R. Smith Era, they better watch out. One of the team's newest members is a serious stick.

The Cavs selected Belmont's Dylan Windler with the 26th pick on Thursday night and in addition to being a tremendous three-point shooter, the 22-year-old has quite the range on the golf course. In a video from September, Windler showed off his talents at a Topgolf in the form of a trick-shot compilation. Check it out:

OK, so some of those are easily copied, but we dig the creativity. It also looks like he flushes the ball on several of his attempts, including “The Corkscrew,” which is actually reminiscent of pro golf rookie Matthew Wolff's unusual swing. In fact, Windler originally had dreams of playing on the PGA Tour before a growth spurt and an opportunity at a particular A..

Hannah Green, the leader of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, was very unprepared for the weather

Darren CarrollCHASKA, MN – JUNE 20: Hannah Green of Australia hits out of the fairway on the third hole during the first round for the 65th KPMG Womens PGA Championship held at Hazeltine National Golf Club on June 20, 2019 in Chaska, Minnesota. (Photo by Darren Carroll/PGA of America via Getty imagesCHASKA, Minn. — In the morning wave of the opening round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, the sun was out, it was a little windy, but nothing crazy. By the afternoon, the temperature dropped and rain started coming down hard. Everyone was taking off their sunglasses and putting on their rain gear.
Well, almost everyone.
Hannah Green, the leader after Dat 1 at Hazeltine National with a bogey-free four-under 68, wasn't putting on rain pants because, well, she doesn't own any.
“I don't know why I don't,” said Green, who turned pro a year ago, when asked why she doesn't own rain pants. “I think I'm going to have to invest in some. Even if I own some, I re..

Marc Leishman knows a lot about golf, but he knows even more about grass

Marc Leishman is one of these Everyman Pro guys. He's been hanging around the middle of PGA Tour leaderboards for the better part of a decade now. He's just charismatic enough be likable and just vanilla enough to be normal (as opposed to, say, Phil, who can be found babbling at iPhone screens in costume when not squeaking over cutlines these days.) He has is own beer, but it's a standard lager, and therein lies a perfect metaphor for the Big Aussie.
As it turns out, however, Leish has been hiding his true self from us this whole time. Perhaps the reason we never felt like we truly knew him was because we didn't. All this while, we thought we understood what made him tick—golf, mostly—but as this peek over the Leishman family fence proves, we couldn't have been more wrong…

Leishman's true calling isn't golf, it's grass. “It's kind of become an obsession I guess,” Leishman says of his g..
