No one has ever wanted a free baseball less than this Chicago Cubs fan
Of the many game-day traditions at Wrigley Field, throwing a home run ball back on the field that was hit by an opposing player is probably the least unique among them. Cubs fans are hardly the only fan base that does it, though everything you read about Wrigley traditions would suggest they believe came up with it. Given they are such great, passionate baseball fans, we'll allow it.
RELATED: No one has ever wanted to catch a foul ball more than this Dodgers fan who sacrificed TWO full meals
As for foul balls or balls tossed into the stands by players, umps, coaches, etc. I don't care who is throwing it or hitting it, those you have to keep. As long as it didn't result in a run for the other team, that's a free baseball that you'll remember forever, or one you could do the right thing with by giving it to a kid and give them something to remember forever. One Cubs fan was having none of that on Tuesday night at Wrigley.

Microsoft’s new XBOX body wash is the most powerful pheromone on earth
When you think about capital-G gamers—individuals whose lives and livelihoods revolve around video games and not the other way around—exemplary hygiene is not the first thing that springs to mind. That just one of the many trade-offs you make when you dedicate your life to no-level-up dungeon runs and melee-weapon battle royales. Alas, life is but sacrifice.
This week, however, Microsoft, tech behemoth best known for operating systems your dad still uses, is hoping change all that with the world's first line of XBOX-themed personal care products. Available exclusively in Australia (for now), the line includes a shower gel, that looks like it's made from a vaporized Ghostbuster, as well as a body spray and deodorant. The trio of products, created in conjunction with Axe's international brand, Lynx, is already being hailed as “Sex Panther for nerds.” 60% of the time, it works every time.

Tour pros reenact Seinfeld, Tiger Woods twists the knife on his ex (coach), and the longest golf course yet
Welcome to another edition of The Grind, where we suddenly have a lot more room on the old DVR after James Holzhauer’s stunning—and yes, devastating—loss on *Jeopardy*. Seriously, it’s going to be tough to watch Jeopardy for awhile after witnessing the game being revolutionized by this grinning sports gambler. You can understand why it was so hard for golf fans to say goodbye to Tiger Woods when he appeared on his way to the game show graveyard. Parting with true greatness is sad because you never know when you’ll see it again. The Tiger-James comp also works because even though neither quite caught the men they were chasing (Jack Nicklaus and Ken Jennings) in the record books, we can safely say that they played their respective games at the highest level in history.
FacebookPinterestAnyway, at least we still have Woods to watch. And the 15-time major was in action this past week as part of a dizzying few days of golf. Let this Alex be your host as we run through everything that’s happ..
Sean Avery’s NSFW Instagram stories have not disappointed during the Stanley Cup Finals
Brian BabineauFirst, Sean Avery picked a fight with every idiot who blocked the bike lane in NYC (something he still does on his Instagram a daily basis). Then he took aim at the entire New York Islanders fan base (something he'll probably do again at some point). Next up? The city of Boston, Bruins fans, specifically.
The Bruins are currently in a heated battle with the St. Louis Blues in the Stanley Cup Finals, with the Blues squaring the series at two games apiece on Monday night in St. Louis. Avery, who spent 13 years in the NHL, the majority of them as a member of the New York Rangers, has been watching every minute (#BecauseItsTheCup), and he's made sure to capture many of his reactions and post them to his Instagram story, which has become the stuff of legend over the last few months for reasons mentioned above and for reasons you'll see below.
Full disclosure: I love Sean Avery. I love the way he played, the way he chirped, and the way he would randomly display s..
