With a dominant performance at the Irish Open, Jon Rahm now has the second-best British Open betting odds. Rahm is listed at 12/1, the same odds given to Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy by Westgate Las Vegas Superbook. That’s a lot of respect for a 22-year-old who will make just his second start at the Open next week at Royal Birkdale.

Rahm finished T-59 in his tournament debut at Royal Troon last year. Dustin Johnson remains the tournament favorite at 10-to-1 odds.

Reigning Masters champ Sergio Garcia and Rickie Fowler have the next-best odds (15/1), followed by a group at 20/1 that includes former World No. 1 Jason Day, defending champ Henrik Stenson, and current World No. 2 Hideki Matsuyama.
