Even by Steph Curry standards, this Steph Curry shot is bonkers

Ronald Cortes(Photo by Ronald Cortes/Getty Images)The schadenfreude surrounding the Golden State Warriors has been running strong and mighty this season, a stream the two-time defending champs continue to fill. There was the on-court dust-up between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, ongoing rumors that Durant will likely bounce after the season, Klay Thompson calling out the hometown ground, the rough assimilation of Boogie Cousins into the proceedings, and the very real possibility the Warriors will fail to capture the No. 1 seed. All that's missing is Durant getting caught flirting with an Instagram model on his burner account…and we still have three months of action left in the season to make that dream come true.
However, while the hatters' cups are overflowing with epicaricacy, ultimately it will not matter, as the Warriors will win their fourth title in five years, solely on the merits of one Steph Curry. In spite of this campaign's chaos and a pesky groin injury,..

Rory McIlroy’s return to glory, Jon Rahm’s disastrous caddie overrule, and Brooks Koepka’s bizarre weight loss

Welcome to another edition of The Grind, where we have a fierce battle taking place inside our head right now. Last week, I underestimated the new Players Championship theme music. While it will still never top Yanni’s “In Celebration of Man,” it’s a majestic piece that has become my new jam. Well, my new jam along with an old jam, John Tesh's classic “Round Ball Rock” anthem, which was resurrected this year and featured during last week's Big East Tournament. I can’t get either out of my head, and honestly, it’s glorious. I wake up hearing them. I go about my daily activities hearing them. And I fall asleep hearing them. Well, try to fall asleep. They both get the blood pumping. Cue the orchestra!

OK, now that we're all properly fired up, let's run through a brick wall everything else happening in the world of golf.

Altamont Beer Works’ new CattyShack IPA is a liquid tribute to Carl Spackler

The year is 1980 and Carl Spackler has just won the Masters…well, in his head at least. The azaleas are in full bloom and the green jacket is tailored just right. He makes eye contact with Jack who gives him a thumbs up wrung with a halo of spring sunlight. It would be a crime to wash down this completely fictional triumph with a dusty bottle of Bud, but it's 1980, what other option is there? Well, assuming Altamont Beer Works has a time machine and an in at Augusta National (not sure which is harder to come by, to be honest), the answer is the CattyShack IPA—a liquid tribute to Mr. Spackler himself and quite possibly the greatest back nine beer ever brewed.

The boozy brainchild of the hop-obsessed NorCal craft brewer, the CattyShack is a classic American IPA loaded with Simcoe Hops and a touch of Crystal Malt. Boasting notes of pine (or should we say pine straw), citrus, and melon, it's an easy drinker despite clocking in at a respectable 6% ABV, A..

MLB experimenting with new Ump Cam that’s so real you’ll need to wear a cup

There's no shortage of storylines surrounding the Seattle Mariners' preseason trip to Japan. There's the final final farewell of Ichiro Suzuki and the question of how the NPB actually stacks up to the MLB. There's the very first meaningful game of the MLB season being played 5,000 miles from home and the fact that it's happening a full nine days before the rest of the league takes to the mound. Yet despite all that, the only thing the baseball world is talking about following the Mariners 6-4 win over the Yomiuri Giants on Monday is Ump Cam (ALL HAIL UMP CAM)—an immersive new camera angle that puts viewers directly behind home plate with nothing between the ol' family jewels and a triple-digit heater from some guy named Thor but a glorified Solo cup.

Watch an overzealous marshal leave his post to bearhug player at European Tour event

The Players Championship wasn't the only tournament conducted on golf's top circuits last weekend. The European Tour, sans most of its marquee names, visited Nairobi for the Magical Kenya Open. And though Guido Migliozzi left with the trophy, the true winner was this crowd marshal working Karen Country Club's 18th hole on Sunday.
It was there that Simon Ngige, one of the few Kenyans teeing it up in the tournament, holed out his final shot of the competition for a birdie. A shot that brought a thunderous ovation from the crowd. And a shot that delivered a joyous bearhug from a marshal.

Thankfully, Stevie Williams is no longer active on the bag, or that could have gone very differently.
Sure, marshals are supposed to be impartial, but with the European Tour's inaugural visit to the country, it's understandable this cheerful chap got caught up in the moment. That Ngige responded in kind made the greeting ..
