You can pay to caddie for Bryson DeChambeau for a day (for charity)—but it’ll cost you

Keyur KhamarDUBLIN, OH – JUNE 03: Bryson DeChambeau celebrates and bumps fists with his caddie after making a birdie putt on the 12th hole green during the final round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide at Muirfield Village Golf Club on June 3, 2018 in Dublin, Ohio. (Photo by Keyur Khamar/PGA TOUR)One of the jobs we respect the most among PGA Tour circles is being the caddie of Bryson DeChambeau. For all we know, Tim Tucker, Bryson's usual looper, needs a Ph.D. to decipher Bryson's constant chatter about barometric pressure, radius control and the coefficient of restitution of flagsticks—let alone be able to deliver data back to DeChambeau when requested. You need to be a smart cat to caddie for one of golf's smartest cats.
You can now bid to get that gig for the day, in the Wednesday pro-am for the RBC Heritage, but it'll cost you a pretty penny. The proceeds go toward a charitable donation to the Bryson DeChambeau foundation, so your cash will be w..

James Corden pranks David Beckham with the ol’ hideous statue trick

Soccer has suffered a rash of sculptures gone wrong in recent years. First came Cristiano's Ronaldo's sneering bust, followed by Brandi Chastain's nightmarish Hall of Fame Plaque, which literally required a name plate even with Brandi Chastain standing right next to it. So when it came time for David Beckham to be honored with his own statue outside the LA Galaxy's Dignity Health Sports Park, there was obviously a little trepidation. But after Beckham met with the sculptor months in advance, advising a little less chin and a little less ass, he was satisfied. He even made plans for his parents and wife to fly overseas for the unveiling. It was going to be a big moment…but then James Corden got wind of it. We would explain the whole thing, but it's just so much better (and funnier) to watch.
You should really take 10 minutes to soak in the whole clusterf—k, but if you're in a rush/think you don't care about soccer, here are the cliff notes: After lea..

2019 Players Championship: We can all thank a ‘crap iron shot’ for Tiger’s ‘better than most’ putt

Stan BadzUNITED STATES – MARCH 18: Tiger Woods (Photo by Stan Badz/PGA)PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — It's Players Championship week, which means you're going to be hearing and seeing a lot of the same things that we do every year at TPC Sawgrass. At the top of the list is Tiger Woods' famous “better than most putt” from the third round of the 2001 Players, made famous both by the difficulty of the putt and Gary Koch's iconic call of said putt. In case you haven't seen it enough on Golf Channel this week, don't worry, you'll be fed a heavy dose of it throughout the week during the coverage, as is tradition. The only difference this year being that it will have that completely over-the-top electric theme music playing over it.
Obviously, watching the putt never gets old, but even the staunchest of Tiger fans will tell you they've watched and heard the call enough times by now. That being said, we'd never say no to hearing Woods break the memorable..

If Bryce Harper doesn’t end up on an episode of ‘Always Sunny in Philadelphia’, we riot

Joe RobbinsBryce Harper has been a Phillie for less than two weeks, but he's already fitting in nicely. Without setting foot in the City of Brotherly Love, Harper has already pissed off the entire MLB by tampering with Mike Trout and refusing to apologize for it and sparked a baseball virgin fervor when the Blue Jays experimented with a four-man outfield against him during a Spring Training game on Saturday. He's crawled under just about everyone's skin without even taking a meaningful cut, and honestly, what could be more Philly than that (besides throwing batteries at Santa, of course.)

And yet, Harper's transformation to true Philly Phanatic (or d-bag, depending on what bank of the Delaware you grew up on) won't be complete without one final trial—a harrowing ascent to the loftiest peak Philadelphia celebrity has to offer: A cameo on Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Thankfully for Bryce, and humanity a..

PGA Tour WAG makes hitting infamous island green at TPC Sawgrass look easy

On the Wednesday of Players week, PGA Tour caddies compete in a closest-to-the pin contest at TPC Sawgrass' infamous island-green 17th hole for charity. But if there's ever a similar contest among PGA Tour WAGs, we know who we're putting our money on.

From time to time, we've seen the sweet swing of Erin Walker, wife of 2016 PGA champ Jimmy Walker on display. And on Monday, the six-time PGA Tour winner showed off Erin's attempt on No. 17 during a practice round. Check it out:

Not too shabby, indeed.
As Walker's swing coach, Butch Harmon, points out in the comment section, Erin “could sell that shot on Sunday.” For a lot. Countless golfers have seen their dreams of winning a Players title sink along with their golf balls in the water guarding the 17th green, but Erin made the shot look easy.
Then again, when you're a competitive show jumper, hopping a littl..
