Jordan Spieth’s calloused mitts make hockey players look like hand models
Don't get us wrong, Jordan Spieth has great hands…and no we're not talking about his short game. Seriously, just take a look at their pearly expanses and immaculately manicured cuticles and try to tell us he doesn't have a lucrative post-golf career as the hand-model successor to J.P. Prewitt waiting for him:
FacebookPinterestJim RogashBut when you're grinding on the range, trying to find your game after, let's be honest, a down year, the health of the 'ol digits is a secondary concern. Spieth proved as much on Friday, revealing his mangled mitts at the Pebble Beach Pro Am, showing everyone that the life of a tour pro is not all glitz, glamour, and expensive Swiss moisturizers.

Ladies and gentleman, these are what we in the industry call battle scars. If we didn't know any better, we'd say Spieth accidentally dropped his engagement ring in the garbage disposal and then flicked the wro..
If you love betting unders, then tonight’s Siena-Manhattan matchup is your Christmas
Icon SportswireSports fans are still recovering less than a week after arguably the most boring Super Bowl ever. Tom Brady's scrappy bunch put up a mere 13 points and yet they dominated. YAWN. But what made the big game such a big bore was that it wasn't supposed to play out like that. The 56.5 over/under, which opened at 58.5, was one of the highest in history. And for once, Vegas was way off.

Friday night's Siena-Manahattan matchup is a totally different scenario, not just because it involves another sport altogether in college basketball, but because it is predicted to be an absolute grinder of a game. The over/under is currently at a comically low 110.5, which, according to The Action Network, is the lowest total for a men's college basketball game in four years. Even lower than all the usual low Friday night over/unders in the Ivy League.
The last time a total was this low was Feb. 11, 2015 when Wyomin..
Get to know the man behind PGA Memes, the irreverent golf Instagram account that spares no one
If you follow @PGAMemes you know why it's one of the most discussed Instagram accounts in the golf social media space . . for better or for worse. Always toeing the line and occasionally (and admittedly) crossing it, the page is full of laugh-out-loud posts that blatantly conveys things we’re all thinking but either deem as inappropriate or we’re just afraid to say. The man behind the memes, who chooses to remain anonymous (he explains why below), has grown the account to just shy of 200,000 followers and gains over 1,500 new fans each day. Get to know the guy behind the sometimes controversial but always hilarious Instagram account, PGA Memes.
When did you start PGA Memes and why?
I got started last January. For me I’m not that great of a golfer. I’m not scratch by any means, but I see a lot of humor in golf and try to bring a little life to the sport. Some people will say it’s stuffy, but there’s a lot of fun in the game. When I looked around and saw what the Instagram community..
Former MLB All-Star pitcher has two simple (and terrible) solutions to increase offense in baseball
Icon Sports WireIf you've been paying attention, you've seen the proposed rules changes the MLB and the Player's Association revealed earlier this week. For once, they didn't look that terrible, which is no small feat considering some of their recent history. Of course, they are still pushing for the rule that would allow teams to put a runner at second base in extra innings, which, and I cannot stress this enough, is the most embarrassing idea I've ever heard. It's quite fitting for my generation though. Nothing says millennial like being placed at second base without hitting a double.
Other than that flaming hot garbage idea, which they use in the minors, the other proposals are…dare I say…good. Universal DH? Suck it up you NL try-hard fans, it's going to happen, as it should. Added roster spot? Good. Twenty-second pitch clock? VERY good. Reducing mound visits? Good. Three-batter minimum? I'm a pretty big hater of this bull-penning craze, b..
