Samsung debuted a 219-inch TV at CES and we’re drooling about watching The Masters on it

CES 2019 is in full swing, gracing Las Vegas Convention Center and the internet alike with more tech gadgets than you can shake Alexa at. There's been crazy BMW x North Face campers, anti-aging skin printers, and a corral of new Google home goodies, but the internet's favorite device is, perhaps unsurprisingly, something old delivered in a whole new way:
Samsung's Godzilla-dwarfing 219-inch flatscreen TV dubbed “The Wall.”
FacebookPinterestMeasuring in at a whopping 18-feet wide, “The Wall” employs microLED technology, which creates a brighter picture with less energy than traditional TVs. If that sounds like the perfect recipe for the best Masters viewing party ever, then let's just say great minds think alike. Needless to say, if you thought those green jackets and pink Azaleas popped before, just wait until you have Starship Enterprise's windshield propped up your living room.

“Tiger Woods Doing Things” is the Instagram handle you didn’t know you needed

My grandpa (RIP), was NOT a fan of Tiger Woods, but his dislike of Tiger had nothing to do with Woods himself and everything to do with how much focus the star golfer received during telecasts. “Did they show him go to the bathroom yet?” he'd like to joke. It was the same reason he didn't like Greg Norman, either, and it's the same reason some stubbornly refuse to root for Tiger to this day. Well, if you're one of those people like my grandpa, then you might want to look away.

That's because there's a new Instagram account that tracks Tiger doing random things. In fact, it's called “Tiger Woods Doing Things” (@twdoingthings). Yeah, it's that basic. And yet, it's oddly entertaining. Here's a sampling:

Spider-Man shows off silky swing while playing Sony Open Pro-Am with Jordan Spieth

Getting bit by a radioactive spider comes with some perks. Heightened senses, super grip, insta-abs, Gwen Stacy, and, as it turns out, one hell of a swing. Just ask 22-year-old MCU webslinger Tom Holland who flashed his Spidey sense-tingling swing while teeing it up with Jordan Spieth at the Sony Open Pro-Am on Wednesday.

Now we don't suggest you go jump in a tub of tarantulas to lower that handicap—we have far safer methods for improving your game, if that's what you're after—but clearly something is working Holland, who finally feels comfortable enough in his own, er, swing, to step out from behind the mask and show the world who he truly is: An unabashed golf nerd.

Interestingly enough, a lot hangs in the balance for both Jordan Spieth and Holland this spring. The last time we saw Holland suit up as Spider-Man ..

Just when you thought you’d seen the worst answer in Jeopardy! history, a new contender emerges

A few week ago, we shared with you the true story of Myra, a Jeopardy! contestant who identified former Kid Rock DJ Uncle Kracker as Kid Cudi in what we, at the time, called the worst answer in Jeopardy! history. Why Jeopardy! is asking questions about Uncle Kracker in 2018 is another issue altogether, but it looks like Myra might already have some competition in the show's time-tested Last New Band I Listened to Was Fleetwood Mac category. America, meet Jessica:

Now, if you don't listen to pop (sorry bros, Jay-Z is ostensibly Top 40 now), there's a good chance you wouldn't have come up with The Carters in five seconds either. I know I wouldn't have. But this isn't about what the correct answer was as much as the answer poor Jessica—probably the last person on earth you'd want answering questions about Jay-Z and Beyonce if your life depended on answering questions about Jay-Z and Beyonce—gave:

The Arizona Cardinals tried to burn Stephen A. Smith on Twitter. It did not end well

Cindy OrdLook, it's easy—sometimes salutary—to rip Stephen A. Smith, because a shot at Smith doubles as a shot at what sports discourse has become. But even Smith's detractors, of which there are many, have to give the man credit: dude works his ass off. He does a daily, extremely-popular three-hour television program, heads to his own radio show, makes multiple appearances on other ESPN platforms throughout the afternoon and early night, occasionally handles pre-game NBA coverage, handles a podcast and pumps out columns. Cat straight-up grinds.
And yes, his blunder last month during a Chiefs-Chargers preview was an egg-on-face masterclass. However, everyone, no matter the occupation, has made a biblical mess-up. They just happened in relatively anonymity, not in front of millions of schadenfreude-thirsty viewers.
So when the Arizona Cardinals tried to do a Twitter drive-by on Smith, the omnipresent media personality responded in kind.
The set-up: the Cardinals, arguably in t..

You won’t believe how long it took a Ryder Cup player to make his first hole-in-one (Or where it came)

As someone who is still searching praying begging for a first hole-in-one, I admit to being a bit jealous anytime some crazy ace feat makes the news. Should I really feel that happy for the greedy guy who makes two in one round? Or for the showoff who made one with his putter? Or for the first-time golfer grounding one in? How is that fair to someone like myself who has put in all this time?! But on Wednesday, I actually learned of a hole-in-one that left me feeling a lot better about this hole on my meager golfing résumé.

Nicolas Colsaerts is a two-time European Tour winner and current No. 185 in the Official World Golf Ranking, who is probably best known for making eight birdies and an eagle against Tiger Woods (and Steve Stricker) during a match at the 2012 Ryder Cup. He's also 36, and despite nearly two decades as a tour pro—and a very good one, at that—hadn't made a hole-in-one. Until Wednesday.
