Gregg Popovich gives the most Greg Popovich answer when asked about LeBron James

LeBron James got roasted by his teammates on Wednesday for skipping the Lakers holiday party the previous night. By Wednesday night, however, all had been forgiven in Los Angeles as The King put forth a vintage performance against the Spurs. Almost as vintage as the one Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich turned in after.

Speaking with reporters after James torched his team for 20 of his 42 points in the fourth quarter, Pop was asked (probably for the 3,578th time) what makes LeBron so tough to guard? And he gave exactly the short, blunt, annoyed answer you'd expect from a man who has been a nightmare to in-game TV reporters throughout his career. Check it out:

Apologies to whomever asked the question, but you got POPped.
So to sum up: Pop's response? Not surprising. LeBron's performance? Not surprising. The Lakers throwing a holiday party the night be..

NHL player tells ref “I can do whatever I want” after ref tells him to move, is getting soap in his mouth

Remember our guy Colton Parayko? The one who made the effort play of the year in the NHL with this sick, one-handed goal to beat the Colorado Avalanche in overtime last Friday night? Well, he's the talk of hockey Twitter once again, and this time it's not for a highlight-reel goal, but for something even better: putting a ref in his place.
The hilarious moment occurred during the overtime period of the St. Louis Blues' home game against against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night. Less than 50 seconds in, Parayko took the puck behind the net and waited, a common occurrence in the NHL's (semi)new 3-on-3 OT format in which teams prioritize puck control above all. To be fair, Parayko took a few liberties with this strategy, parking it behind the cage for a good 10 seconds. That's when the ref told him to “Move it!” and Parayko fired back with a perfect response:

Draymond Green has a funny theory as to why the Cavs renovated their visitors locker room

There will be just a few less people watching the Warriors play the Cavaliers on Wednesday night than when they last met in the NBA Finals earlier this year. But Golden State star/instigator Draymond Green noticed something else different in his first return to the Quicken Loans Arena since the Warriors wrapped up their third NBA title in four years there: a smell. Or rather, the lack of a certain scent with which his team has gotten familiar.

Green made the comments in an Instagram video of him entering the renovated visitors locker room. The three-time NBA All-Star's theory for the changes? Golden State's champagne celebration in June. Have a watch and listen:

We're guessing that's not the real reason for the redecorating, but regardless, it's a good burn. It's also a good sign for the defending champs that Green has moved on..

Blake Mycoskie, Toms Shoes founder, on playing in the AT&T Pro-Am, downing beers before a tee time, and his ambitious anti-gun violence campaign

On Nov. 19, Blake Mycoskie, the founder of Toms Shoes who has made charitable giving a central tenet of his business, announced his most ambitious endeavor yet. Appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Mycoskie unveiled a campaign to raise money and awareness toward ending gun violence (for more information, go to Toms.com). For a company committed to social causes, it was a step into politically murky waters, but Mycoskie, who puts his 7 handicap on display annually in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, was undeterred, and the response even among conservative golf friends has been almost universally positive. With his campaign still gathering momentum, we spoke with Mycoskie about his bold initiative, the myriad relationships he’s developed through golf, and why he feels compelled to down a few beers before playing before a gallery.
So let’s talk about how you started in golf.
I played growing up with my dad and my brother. Both are very good players, but I wasn’t as serious ..

Golfer donates $5,000, and his man bun, to Jarrod Lyle’s charity

Jason McCawley/R&A(Photo by Jason McCawley/R&A/R&A via Getty Images)Jake McLeod enjoyed a career breakout in 2018. The 24-year-old notched his first professional win at the AVJennings NSW Open, a victory—coupled with five other top-10 finishes—that was good enough to earn McLeod the Order of Merit title on the PGA Tour of Australasia. McLeod also moved up nearly 400 spots in the world rankings, currently sitting at No. 155, on the precipice of earning invites to some of golf's most prestigious events (he already received exemptions onto the European Tour and into two WGC tournaments).
However, you're not reading about McLeod for these feats. McLeod's on your radar for his fundraiser for the Jarrod Lyle Family Trust, a charity in honor of the fallen Aussie golfer. McLeod was able to get $5,000 for the family by “donating”—aka cutting—his man bun.

Watch a “Deal or No Deal” contestant make one of the dumbest decisions in TV history

WARNING: You probably shouldn't watch the following clip unless you are OK with seeing some poor sap throw away a small fortune. Sadly, that's what happened during the Deal or No Deal holiday special on Tuesday night when a man named Luis Green made what turned out to be one of the dumbest decisions in TV history. In other words, Mr. Green didn't go home with much green in his pockets.
RELATED: This is it, this is the worst answer in Jeopardy! history
To be honest, I needed to take a crash course in Deal or No Deal from a co-worker since I don't watch this money grab (mostly for host Howie Mandel) program, but there wasn't much to learn. A contestant is given a briefcase with an undisclosed amount and then he gets to keep choosing other briefcases to reveal/eliminate. All the while, “the bank” offers him “deals” based on what briefcases remain to hedge against a contestant winding up with one of the biggest prizes. Got it? I thought so. It's not complicate..

We finally have an answer to the decades-long “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” debate

The holidays are a time of gathering, and anytime friends and family come together, debate will ensue. Though the years turn, much of the discourse remains unchanged. Such contentions include:
— “Does anyone know what Boxing Day is?”
— “Is Festivus the best Seinfeld episode ever, or extremely overrated?” (Don't say anything; I'm embarrassed for my family.)
— “Are the Browns finally turning it around?” (Occurs after Uncle Ed has brought his famous spiked Egg Nog.)
— “Should we host an intervention for Uncle Ed?”
Perhaps at the top of this list resides, “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” One side will argue, “Hell yeah it is!” because Bruce Willis and explosions, you know? To which the opposition counters, “You're an idiot.” But because the film does take place on Christmas Eve, the issue has been in doubt.
However, thanks to a new poll from the Hollywood Reporter/Morning Consult, this decades-long question has been answered, and answered with vigor.
Out of 2,200 surveye..
