Minnesota high schooler scores the most stunning walk-off goal in soccer history
There have been longer goals scored, there have been crazier goals scored, but good luck finding a more stunning goal in soccer history than what happened in Friday's Minnesota Class A championship game. After a scoreless regulation and first overtime between Blake School and Bemidji High at Vikings' U.S. Bank Stadium, Blake's Keegan James took the double OT kickoff at midfield and delivered an absolute dagger to win the title.
ESPN's Darren Rovell shared the incredible clip, calling it a “MUST WATCH.” We couldn't agree more. See for yourself:

For this to happen at any time would be ridiculous, but to win a state title? Unbelievable. Obviously, this must have been something James has practiced (Honestly, we didn't even know if it was legal at first), but wow, just wow. We're guessing this instant high school legend is going to have a pretty good weekend.

Justin Thomas gives hysterical response after losing random poll involving Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy
We're not sure what possessed the Open's official Twitter handle to pose the following poll question on a Friday afternoon in November, but there it was. “Who would you most like to play a round with?” Even more puzzling were the three options given: Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas.

Hmm. All three former World No. 1s and major champions are obviously great options, but c'mon, you know where this is heading. The votes came in and, yep, Tiger dominated the other two. The result was so unsurprising it prompted Thomas to offer this hilarious reaction:

It's good to see this young star doesn't take himself too seriously. Then again, that's pretty apparent based on this year's Halloween costume:

You know what? JT, you've got my vot—eh, nah. Can't do it. I'm going with Tiger, too. Sorry, man,..
Former NBA player has dog named Kobe detained at Australian airport
A former NBA player went Down Under to continue his playing career, but he's probably feeling a bit down and out after his best friend wasn't allowed to stay.
In what's being described as a “miscommunication” by Lamar Patterson, his French bulldog named Kobe was detained shortly after the 27-year-old landed at Brisbane Airport. Although Patterson cleared customs, according to the Associated Press, carrying his pet onboard and without a proper import permit violated Australia's strict bio-security laws.

“If this is big news then Australia is an amazing place to live at,” Patterson said at a Friday news conference. “It was on my ticket that I was traveling with a pet, even my return ticket. It was a miscommunication with the airlines.”
Miscommunication or not, sadly, Kobe was quarantined and then sent back home. At least, for now.
