Say hello the Philadelphia Flyers’ new mascot and goodbye to ever sleeping again

About this time last year, America was losing its collective shit over IT, a vivid reimagining of Stephen King's classic yarn about a homicidal, child-devouring demon masquerading as a homicidal, child-devouring clown. If you thought ol' Pennywise was terrifying, however, just wait until you see the Philadelphia Flyers' new mascot Gritty, a googly-eyed, marmalade monster that will haunt you into the box and possibly beyond. Apologies if you're finally starting to sleep through the night again, but this horror is simply too great to bear on our own:

Does anyone else feel their soul squirming like ants under a magnifying glass?

Celebrate No. 80 with this Tiger Woods Comeback shirt

Admit it, we were all a little teary-eyed watching Tiger Woods capture the FedEx Cup and arguably the best comeback in sports history. Not surprisingly, the post-Twitter storm was strong with everyone from Jack Nicklaus to Ja Rule offering congratulations to Woods—and likely wiping a tear or two from their faces as well. One of the best Tweets came earlier in the week from Englishman Tommy Fleetwood with a simple “Tiger Woods is good at golf”. He didn't need to use 140 characters to capture how the world was feeling watching Woods finally grab his 80th career victory.
Inspired by Woods and Fleetwood's poetic prose, our friends at BreakingT dropped this “Comeback Complete” shirt. The bold lettering gets the message across underneath an image of a Tiger. Upon closer inspection, the Tiger stripes actually read “good at golf” for an extra unique touch.

This Tiger Woods video of him watching his doubters isn’t real, but it’s still awesome

Tiger Woods' Tour Championship triumph sent the golf world into a tizzy on Sunday. It also produced perhaps the biggest batch of sports prediction mea culpas in history.
Not surprisingly, just about everyone who watches golf thought we'd seen the last of Woods winning at some point during the past five years in which the 14-time major champ struggled through a variety of injuries and controversies. Heck, Woods himself told fellow green jacket winners he was “done” at the 2017 Masters Champions Dinner. But his improbable comeback allowed some of these hot frozen takes to come back to light. Golf Digest's Claire Rogers even shared this list of now-dumb-looking tweets through the years she'd saved for the perfect moment:

But one Tiger Woods video of him watching his doubters diss him went viral. Only he wasn't actually watching his doubters diss him.
If you follow Skratch TV, which was launched by the PGA T..
