Shane Lowry’s short game is juuuuust a tad bit rusty

Shane Lowry will have to wait until 2021 for the opportunity to defend his British Open title due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. And from the looks of it, he might need all that time to get his short game back on track.

The man who claimed the claret jug by six shots at Royal Portrush last year hit the links for the first time in six weeks on Friday and shared a video of him attempting a pitch shot. Let's just say, it did not go well. Here's Lowry looking like your average weekend hack rather than “the champion golfer of the year.”

Oof. Even the best players aren't immune to a bit of rust during this long layoff.
At least Lowry only did damage to the turf and not his house like 2018 European Ryder Cup captain Thomas Bjorn, who managed to break a glass door while taping a chipping drill the other day. That didn't keep Bjo..

Michael Jordan reportedly turned down $100 million for two hours of work, is officially the GOAT

Streeter LeckaWhether Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time is (possibly) up for debate. With a net worth more than $2 BILLION, though, his Airness and Sneaker King, is clearly the wealthiest athlete of all time. Which explains why MJ once turned down $100 million for a two-hour appearance fee.

OK, so it only sort of explains it. We don't care how rich you are, $100 million for essentially two hours of work is pretty tough to pass up. But according to Jordan's longtime agent, David Falk, that's exactly what he did once.
Appearing on WFAN's “Boomer and Gio” program on Thursday to discuss ESPN's hit docuseries “The Last Dance,” Falk revealed the time Jordan turned down more than he made from contracts during his 16 seasons in the NBA.

Vince McMahon’s daily meal is one of the more absurd food creations you’ll ever hear

I'm no WWE expert, far from it, but I am an expert in reading the absolute ridiculous stories the internet has to offer about Vince McMahon. The term “nut job” was created solely with McMahon in mind, and I say that as a compliment. Apparently you're not allowed to sneeze around him. Apparently he used to have steroids delivered directly to his office, for himself and for Hulk Hogan. And apparently, he wrestles people on planes quite often, Ernie Els style. The list of tales, which are all likely exaggerated but still somewhat true, goes on and on.

The latest and greatest McMahon story comes from comedian and host of “the No-Sports Report” podcast Jensen Karp, who wrote for WWE Raw for seven months in 2006. Karp was a recent guest on the popular “Pardon My Take” podcast, and the subject of his time writing for Raw came up. Karp explained that the job required a lot of..

Will Ferrell crashes Seahawks Zoom meeting as Greg Olsen, still has his incredible skater’s body

Everybody and their mother is crashing Zoom meetings these days, to the point where it's become a bit played out. Once you start to fail to recognize the so-called “celeb”'s name who is crashing the meeting or virtual lecture or virtual happy hour, that's when you know that joke has run its course. However, exceptions can be made. Exceptions like Will Ferrell crashing the Seattle Seahawks virtual team meeting.
But this wasn't your normal pop-in, Q&A session with a celebrity. This was Ferrell impersonating new Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen as only Ferrell can: by being himself.

For a comedian who has done some of the greatest impersonations of other famous people ever, some of his best impressions are when he is just being himself but says he's being someone else. Like the time he accepted the 2008 Best Male Athlete ESPY for Tiger Woods:
I for one would love to live in a world where one of Tiger's spon..

Did you know: The two things Phil Mickelson surprisingly hasn’t accomplished (besides win a U.S. Open)

Andrew Redington/Getty ImagesThe coronavirus pandemic has hit a giant pause button on fans being able to watch golf on TV, and in some cases, even kept people off courses. But while we hunker down and hope for a speedy return to normalcy, we can also use this time as an opportunity to learn more about the game we love. Here’s our latest installment of “Did you know?”
Phil Mickelson is unquestionably one of the greatest golfers of all time due to an impressive and eclectic résumé. Sure, there are the 44 PGA Tour titles and five major championships, but he’s also the only golfer to spend more than a quarter century consecutively inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, and we’re pretty sure he’s the only golfer to win a $9 million match when he won “The Match” against Tiger Woods in 2018. We’re only pretty sure about the latter because who knows how much Bill Gates or Warren Buffett have played for. Or Michael Jordan for that matter.
