Stuart FranklinYou gotta give Scott Van Pelt credit for being able to get Tiger Woods on the phone. Getting the 15-time major champ to come on a podcast, though? That's a different story.

For the second time, the SportsCenter host attempted to corral the Big Cat—who is the white whale of the podcast community—for a phone interview. And for the second time, SVP was politely turned down. Here was the short, but humorous exchange between the two friends:
SVP: “TW!”
TIGER: “Hey SVP, I'd love to help, but today's a big short game day, and I think you remember the last podcast you called me out of the blue. . .”
SVP: “Oh, yeah. . .”
TIGER: “Yeah, so, with that in mind, I'm going to pass and I will see you at Augusta. Later. Out.”

Golf Digest Podcast: Scott Stallings on becoming one of the PGA Tour's fittest players, and the bad habit he had to kick to get in shape.

The last time we saw Thor, he was looking little rough. No, we're not talking about bearded, buddha-bellied Avengers: Endgame Thor. We're talking about his Flushing doppelgänger Noah Syndergaard, who finished a bumpy 2019 with a 4.28 ERA and 1.234 WHIP, both career highs. Nearly two years ago, Bauer, then a member of the Cleveland Indians and now a member of the Cincinnati Reds, voiced some legitimate concerns on Twitter over the Houston Astros' ability to turn around the career of a few of Bauer's fellow pitchers. Justin Verlander, Gerritt Cole, Charlie Morton. All three had gone through some serious struggles prior to arriving in Houston, and after arriving became unhittable. Were these all career renaissances or was there something more to it?
Bauer suspected something was up, tweeting on May 1, 2018 “If only there was just a really quick way to increase spin rate. Like what if you could trade for a player knowing that you could bump his spin rate a couple hundred rpm overnight…imagine th..
