Tacko Fall in concussion protocol after smacking head on ceiling/low-flying aircraft

Brian BabineauIn case you missed the breaking news bulletin, Celtics rookie center Tacko Fall is a very large human being. At 7' 6″, 311 pounds with a wing span of 8' 4″, Fall is the largest player to enter the Association since Yao Ming, and has enjoyed his fair share of viral moments because of it. Dwarfing Tracy Wolfson is one thing, but doing it to your very own professional basketball teammate is another thing entirely…

Unfortunately for Fall, his latest 15 minutes of fame came after sustaining a concussion in a collision with A FREAKING CEILING, causing him to miss the Celtics opening game of the season on Wednesday night. Not a door jamb, not a low-hanging light fixture, not the top his locker. A ceiling. Take a moment to stop and look up. You see that expanse of solid material looming above you? That's a ceiling. You couldn't touch it with a step ladder and four-inch stilettos (what you do in your home, is your business). It's..

The only thing funnier than the thought of a jacked Bryson DeChambeau is fellow pros’ reactions to it

Welcome to 2019, where up is down, black is white, the PGA Tour is played in the dead of the night, and Bryson DeChambeau, long the Tour's lovable lab-coated nerd, is getting ripped. On Wednesday night, DeChambeau checked in on IG with some clips of his new gym routine, custom designed, in the immortal words of Ronald (Mac) McDonald, to help him cultivate some serious mass.

Last year, DeChambeua played at a svelte 195 pounds, but now he says he is up to 220, with another 10 to go before hitting his goal of 230. The chances of the added muscle helping him in that proposed title bout with Brooks Koepka are still remote, but the gains are nonetheless impressive, as evidenced by the amount of fellow pros parachuting into DeChambeau's mentions to offer their two cents on the transformation. Needless to say, if you found the idea of the Incredible Hulk calculating barometric pressures on the tee box amusing, just wait until..

Damian Lillard throws down ferocious dunk, causes Trail Blazers announcer to lose his freaking mind

The NBA's “Opening Night” was Tuesday night, but the Association didn't truly return until Wednesday. With 11 games on the schedule, social media was an absolute highlight-fest. Kyrie Irving dropped 50, Ben Simmons had 25, 9 and 8 in a dominant win over the Celtics, Luka Doncic had 34 points and even the Knicks looked promising, albeit in a loss. At times, the excitement was too much to handle for NBA Twitter.
Nobody was more excited than Portland Trail Blazers play-by-play man Kevin Calabro, who brought his fastball from opening tip to the final whistle. His best moment came in the first quarter, when Portland point guard Damian Lillard spun off a Denver Nuggets defender, drove to the basket and threw down a ferocious dunk. Calabro went full Gus Johnson:

What a play. What a call. What a sport! Less than 10 minutes into Game 1 of 82, Calabro is bringing straight HEAT. Save some for the rest of the season my guy!
Unfo..
