Eddie Pepperell hits par 3 green with a putter, then snaps putter in half during 14 Club Challenge

In case you haven't heard, the European Tour is really good at the whole content thing. Case in point, the tour's latest “14 Club Challenge” video featuring New Zealand's Ryan Fox and England's Eddie Pepperell, who can make just about any situation more entertaining with his presence.
But rather than pranking fellow countryman Matt Wallace or leading a “Content Committee” meeting, in this latest video we got to actually see Pepperrell hit some golf shots. Turns out he's almost as good of a player as he is a comedian.

European Ryder Cup Twitter handle expertly trolls Team USA on 4th of July

While the American Ryder Cup team celebrated the 4th of July (Well, those not teeing it up at this week's 3M Open), Team Europe's Twitter account did some celebrating of its own—at the expense of the red, white, and blue.

Anyway, here's the tweet:

Seriously, is Ian Poulter running this account?
In any event, the Americans will have their chance for revenge under captain Steve Stricker at Whistling Straits next September. But with that much time before the event, we're guessing there will be a few more b..

(Photo by Stanley Weston/Getty Images)The nonsense that's daily emitted from the likes of Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless may seem fit for a diaper. But that garbage is discarded tissue paper compared to the Pacific trash vortex that was this take down of Lou Gehrig.
On, um, Lou Gehrig Day.
It was 80 years ago that the “Iron Horse” said farewell as a mystery illness was rapidly siphoning his vitality, a disease so rare that it came to bear his name. Between a doubleheader against the Washington Senators, Gehrig gave what's known as “baseball's Gettysburg Address” to a sold-out Yankee Stadium.
According to the New York Times, the moment was “one of the most touching scenes ever witnessed on a ball field.” Gehrig was shaken, wiping tears from his face. The ..
