PGA Championship 2019: Ian Poulter and Tiger Woods face-off in latest Conor Sketches video

There's been no shortage of trash talk from Tiger Woods so far at the PGA Championship. Buoyed by his Masters victory, Tiger has been dragging anything and everything in his path this week, landing haymakers on John Daly and the whole of New York sports at his Tuesday press conference. Not to content to let Tiger have all the fun, however, Ian Poulter—or should we say, Fake Ian Poulter—has launched a counter-offensive the likes of which only he—or rather, Conor Sketches—could concoct. Fire up the Twitter machine and check it out:

If you've been following Conor's various impressions over the last year or so, you'll immediately recognize these two caricatures: The obliviously arrogant Ian Poulter and Tiger “The Sentient Platitude” Woods. Each are in fine fettle here, with Poulter congratulating Tiger on handling the pressure of a Poulter gallery on moving day and Tiger becoming incensed when Poulter swipes one..

Deontay Wilder REALLY wants to kill a dude in the ring on Saturday night

Deontay Wilder, the same dude who once broke an ESPN mascot's jaw during a fun little puff piece, is at it again. In the build up to his World Heavyweight Championship bout with Dominic Breazeale, a very sweaty, very animated Wilder went on record to quite literally threaten his opponent's life in the ring…all under the guise of legality, of course. Here's what he had to say about the stakes of Saturday night, which, suffice to say, go way beyond another belt.

“This is the only the sport in the world where you can kill a man and get paid for it at the same time.” Wilder told reporters on Tuesday, “It's legal, so why not use my right to do so?” As if that hitman manifesto weren't clear enough, the “Bronze Bomber” then doubled down on his threat, saying, “His [Breazeale's] life is on the line for this fight and I do mean his life…I'm still trying to get me a body on my record.”

New York Knicks fan punctuates very bad night with very premature Zion Williamson tattoo

If you have tattoos (plural), chances are you have one you sort of regret. It's not necessarily a bad tattoo, but maybe it's one that doesn't reflect who you are anymore or hasn't aged as well as you'd hoped. It happens. That's the risk you run when you use your body as a sketch book. There are some ink-borne disasters you can see coming, though. Pete Davidson getting Ariana Grande's name tattooed on him after dating for all of 15 seconds is a prime example, as is any predictive sports tat, even if you are a Warriors fan. But don't take our word for it. Just check out the tattoo one optimistic Knicks fan got on Wednesday night minutes before finding out the poor old Knickerbockers wouldn't be winning the Zion sweepstakes after all:

Something tells us that is not going to buff out. When you misunderstand basic concepts like “lottery” and “percentages” so deeply that you are willing to d..

PGA Championship 2019: Brooks Koepka dropped an $800 dollar tip for a haircut

Streeter Lecka/PGA of AmericaBrooks Koepka walks on the 12th hole during the final round of the 2018 PGA Championship.FARMINGDALE, N.Y.—Tipping, or lack thereof, has been a touchy subject on tour in 2019. Brooks Koepka waded into this discussion on Wednesday, albeit in a more positive connotation.
Koepka, the reigning Player of the Year, will try to defend his Wanamaker title at Bethpage Black. And, like the great warriors of Sparta, Koepka knows the power of a fresh fade before heading into battle, which is why he got his ears lowered this week.

Now, that in itself is not a story. (Unless it's Jordan Spieth, whose haircut at the 2018 Open Championship was somehow newsworthy.) You're reading these because Koepka made sure his barber was properly paid.
With a capital “P.”
FacebookPinterestDamn. I got into the wrong business.
Granted, $800 is chump change compared to the $2 million that goes to the PGA winner. But props to Koepka for making this guy&#03..
