Hitting greens in regulation is going to take a lot of pressure off of your putter. Here are 5 approach shots you should know how to hit.
Watch Joe LaCava hilariously rip off fan’s hat while Tiger Woods was hitting a chip shot at the Match Play
Warren LittleBefore everything began to go Tiger Woods' way in his match against Patrick Cantlay on Friday at Austin Country Club, the 14-time major winner was facing some serious adversity. Woods, who led 1 up through four holes, suddenly found himself trailing 1 down at the eighth tee. He then made a mess of the par 5, badly pulling his second shot into the gallery left of the green and leaving himself with a difficult third shot.
Cantlay, meanwhile, was just left of the green also waiting to hit his third from a much better position than Woods. As Tiger prepared to hit his third, the gallery surrounded he and caddie Joe LaCava. As is the case any time Woods hits one off line, fans get as close as they possibly can to him while still allowing him to make a swing, creating a claustrophobic environment. Add in the fact that everyone wants to grab the same stupid video on their smart phone from five feet away and the scene can get a little hectic.
LaCava noticed this on Friday, and..

Tim Duncan retelling the story about Pop telling him they drafted “Emanuel Jinnobili” is absolutely hilarious
Garrett EllwoodAll you need to know about the San Antonio Spurs' success over the last 20 years in the NBA was on full display on Thursday night at Manu Ginobili's jersey retirement ceremony. Many of the most important members from that tight-knit group of champions were all in attendance: Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen, Tony Parker (who beat the Spurs on Tuesday night as a member of the Hornets, then hopped on the Spurs team plane to be at Manu's ceremony). Hell, Fabricio Oberto was there! (googles Fabricio Oberto) It's the ultimate sign of respect for Manu that these guys would all be there to honor his career and say a few things about the Argentinian legend. No wonder these guys won multiple titles together.
The best moment of the night was provided by Duncan, who retold a hilarious story about the night Manu was drafted by San Antonio. Duncan says he never watched the NBA draft, instead finding out who they picked from Popovich over the phone. Back in 1999, Pop phoned..

Brandon Stone has the perfect solution for slow play
Of the seemingly three trillion hot-button issues facing golf weekend in, weekend out—from flagsticks to distance to political discourse—slow play is the big, lumbering grandaddy of them all. Emphasized recently by the reemergence of Keegan Bradley and a win from biped tortoise J.B. Holmes at Riviera, the issue is poised to rage on through majors season, when play can grind to even more glacial levels. Thankfully, however, European Tour pro Brandon Stone has developed a new (and actually fun) way to keep himself busy while waiting for the group ahead him to mark their three-foot gimmes for bogey:
Juggling, tricks, and other assorted tomfoolery (as slow-play defenders might call it) typically reserved the 'gram. Check out what cameras caught him doing at the Indian Open yesterday and try to tell us this doesn't bring at least a modicum of excitement to the time-honored tee-box backup.
