Sergio Garcia scores highlight-reel goal in European Tour player-caddie soccer match

Sergio Garcia proved he's a fantastic ball-striker in a sport other than golf earlier this week. Competing in the player-caddie soccer match ahead of the Adalucia Valderrama Masters, Garcia scored a highlight-reel goal from deep. Have a look:

Holy bend it like Beckham, Batman! That had more left-to-right spin on it than one of the Spaniard's patented power fades off the tee. And how about the green jacket winner barely even celebrating. Talk about acting like you've been there before.
Then again, it seems everyone participating took the contest pretty seriously.
“This is the event of the year,” Euro Tour pro Felipe Aguilar says in the above video, “especially when you mix the caddies and the players in the same field.”
And since Rory McIlroy wasn't involved, there weren't any injuries to report from the pitch. Good times, indeed.

Courtesy cars at the Masters have come a long way from this hideous station wagon

Andrew RedingtonAUGUSTA, GA – Mercedes courtesy cars are seen during a practice round prior to the start of the 2014 Masters Tournament.A silver sea of shiny Mercedes SUVs will engulf Augusta National Golf Club in April for the 2019 Masters. But apparently, the player courtesy cars for the year's first men's major haven't always been quite as glamorous.
You really never know what you're going to find when you do a photo search on Getty Images. I was working on a Johnny Miller post and needed an old pic from his playing days and came across an image of Miller arriving at Augusta National for the 1981 Masters. His spectacular green outfit caught my attention first, but then I took a closer look. Could that hideous station wagon possibly be his courtesy car?
FacebookPinterestAugusta NationalYES! IT IS! Look at that Masters logo on the window and the “OFFICIAL CAR” on the back door! Wow. Talk about arriving in style. Was that a special green-jacket-green trim?

Watch Kawhi Leonard dunk the ball, then palm it before it hits the ground in this mesmerizing video

If you saw that video of Kawhi Leonard's laugh mashed up with the “NBA on NBC” theme earlier this week, chances are you replayed it over and over and over again. It was that good. Somehow, Leonard himself topped that with something he actually did on the court in the Toronto Raptors' home opener, providing by far the most mesmerizing video you'll see all week.
The play actually occurred during Toronto's 12-point win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, and it was the dunk that drew the original praise. But on Friday, the SportsCenter Twitter account pointed out that what happened after the dunk was even more impressive. Here's the video of Leonard slamming it home, then palming the ball before it hits the ground:

Ridiculous. And he wasn't even looking at the ball when he did it. I guess it's just … second-hand nature.
It's not too surprising though, considering the legend o..

CC Sabathia’s F-bomb-laced rant on how to properly bean a batter is gold, Jerry! Gold!

While painful to admit, the New York Yankees are completely irrelevant at this current juncture. The Boston Red Sox clinched a spot in the World Series on Thursday night in Houston, defeating the Astros in Game 5 of the ALCS. These next few weeks will be absolute hell for Yankees fans, as we pray to the baseball gods that the Dodgers or Brewers can save us from an offseason of misery.
That being said, this CC Sabathia F-bomb-laced rant on how to properly bean a batter with the ball will bring a smile to faces of Yankee fans everywhere despite our current situation. If you recall, Sabathia cost himself $500,000 with one pitch late in the regular season against the Tampa Bay Rays when he threw at a Rays batter's knee. The pitch was in retaliation to a pitch by Rays pitcher Andrew Kittredge, who Sabathia felt had thrown at Yankees catcher Austin Romine's head earlier in the game.
This subject came up on the season recap episode of the “R2-C2” podcast that Sabathia co-hosts with ..

LeBron James and Damian Lillard’s early dunk-off nearly brought the roof down in Portland

Sam ForencichSeeing LeBron James in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform is going to take some getting used to. As much as it feels like he's been a nomad for years, he's only played in two different jerseys, and there is something about that striking Laker gold and purple that looks so odd on James.
RELATED: LeBron James is practicing literally every type of shot ahead of the NBA season
But the King made sure NBA fans watching at home got over that real quick on Thursday night in Portland. Those who tuned in to TNT early in the first quarter were treated to an electric, back-and-forth dunk-off between LeBron and Blazers guard Damian Lillard that damn near brought the house down at the Moda Center (wait, it's not called the Rose Garden anymore? Gross). Have a watch:

L-i-t LIT. Basketball fans couldn't have asked for a much better start to this game, and this NBA season, than this 30-second sequence right here. Su..
