Masters 2019: Phil Mickelson confirms outrageous Jordan Spieth wedding story, warms up with $100 bills hanging out of pocket
Warren Little(Photo by Warren Little/Getty Images)AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Masters is the greatest show on turf. And what would the spectacle be without its greatest showman?
Phil Mickelson, always entertaining, made many a headline last week thanks to an interview from country star Jake Owen. In a podcast with Barstool Sports, Owen relayed a tale at Jordan Spieth's wedding involving a confrontation with Mickelson over the subpar showing of “The Match,” only for Phil to shut Owen down with some choice words and a $100 bill.
Speaking at Augusta National on Tuesday, Mickelson confirmed the viral story as true.
“It happened exactly like he said,” Mickelson said. “Jake nailed it, verbatim. Rickie Fowler and I were talking, he was right there, Jake had a bunch of buddies behind him and thought he would show off a little bit and I kind of shot him down, so, yeah.
“I can't tell it any better than he can. You know, it's much better coming from him. I didn't know he was going to t..
Masters 2019: What you need to know about the new logo Tiger Woods’ wore at Masters press conference
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Tiger Woods’ Tuesday press conferences at Augusta National typically are remembered for what the four-time Masters champion has to say. But it appears the 2019 edition will be recalled, instead, something else: what Tiger wore.
Or specifically what Tiger wore on his shirt.

Yes, Internet was all a flutter for the new “Frank” logo that appeared on Woods’ polo. Frank, for non-Tiger fans, is the nickname of the headcover Woods uses for his driver, which developed a persona of its own in the late 1990s through a series of Nike TV ads that brought the headcover to life.
Yet there was Frank, front and center, as Tiger fielded question.
Suffice it to say, social media had a field day:

Masters 2019: John Daly autographs woman’s bare behind in an Augusta parking lot in most John Daly move ever
The real tradition unlike any other during Masters week is not the actual tournament. It's John Daly rolling into town in his gigantic RV and setting up shop in a Hooters parking lot just outside the grounds of Augusta National. From the RV he sells merchandise, snaps photos with fans and of course, signs plenty of autographs.
On Monday, Daly was already back at it, and one lucky (?) lady received Daly's John Hancock on her bare behind in the most John Daly move ever. Check out the photo that Daly posted to his Instagram account:

“All I can say is ….I love my life!” Daly wrote. What's not to love? Aside from playing in the Masters or going as a fan, I guess the next best thing is chilling at the closest Hooters, mingling with the fans and signing some butts. No one can ever tell Daly he's not living his best life.
We're just glad to see that, so far, Daly is safe and sound. Last year, his RV was slammed into by a driver that had lost ..
Masters 2019: The only kid Phil Mickelson has ever refused to give an autograph to is… Brooks Koepka?
Andrew RedingtonAUGUSTA, GEORGIA – APRIL 08: Brooks Koepka of the United States smiles during a practice round prior to The Masters at Augusta National Golf Club on April 08, 2019 in Augusta, Georgia. (Photo by Andrew Redington/Getty Images)Augusta, Ga. — The year was either 1998 or 1999, Brooks Koepka can't quite remember. But he was a little kid, either eight or nine years old, in love with fact that he was at the Masters with his dad. In his press conference on a rainy Tuesday before the 2019 Masters, Brooks talked about how he loved how close he was able to get to the players, how he dreamed of one day playing Augusta National.
The only blemish on the perfect day? He asked Phil Mickelson for an autograph, and the unthinkable happened: Mickelson said no.
“I was standing by the old range, and somehow found my way kind of right by the parking lot or something like that and asked him for an autograph and he said no, and he turned me down, probably about the only kid Phil's e..
Conor Sketches is back with a fresh batch of hilarious Masters impressions
It was about this time last year that we were first introduced to the many (and very familiar) personalities of Conor Moore, an Irish comedian with a penchant for PGA Tour mimicry. Since that faithful video, he's moved stateside and started plying his trade over at Golf Channel, tackling everything from The Open to Tiger Woods. He even paved the way for golf's first swing impressionist. It's been a big, busy year for Conor, but despite the jam-packed calendar, he still found time to craft another Masters masterpiece and, dare we say it, it might be hist best work yet.

A lot of Conor's familiar characters—from shoe-polish-beard Dustin Johnson to Ian “GOAT” Poulter—are present and in fine fettle, but there's also plenty of unsettled comedic territory for the regulars to enjoy. There's another glimpse of his spot-on Tiger and a predictably aggro Gary Player cameo. There's a perfectly rendered ali..

The biggest blown call of the Virginia-Texas Tech game is one no one is talking about
Hannah FoslienMonday night's National Championship game, like almost all college basketball games, featured its fair share of shoddy officiating. It's just the nature of the sport now, one that is dominated by whistles and replay and missed whistles that require more replay. It can be a brutal watch, and it's not entirely the fault of the referees, as Shane Ryan nicely pointed out on Monday. This was more apparent than ever at certain points during the Virginia-Texas Tech game in Minneapolis.

Two calls in particular had massive implications on the final outcome, though only one is getting all the attention on Tuesday morning. The call we're referring to occurred with 1:06 remaining left in overtime, with Virginia in possession of the basketball with a 75-73 lead. Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome put up a potential dagger shot to go up four, but missed and the ..
Natty Light giving away year’s worth of free beer for every birdie made on Masters Sunday
Remember those glory days when the Natty Light 77 pack seemed like a lot of beer? When it felt like no matter what you did or how much you drank, you would never reach the bottom of that beautiful hexagon of hops? Well, those days dried up and so did the beer. Before you knew it, you were wandering supermarket aisles like Lewis without Clark and staring longingly into gray-light gas-station coolers for hours on end. But now, for the first time in a long time, there is hope. Hope because Natural Light has finally returned, and with it the promise of even more beer.
How much more beer? Well, for every birdie made on Masters Sunday, they assure the good, golf-loving people of America, one lucky fan will win a year's supply of Natural Light.
