The best dunker in the world might be this middle school. . . science teacher?
LeBron James is thrilling Los Angeles Lakers fans with high-flying dunks on a regular basis now, but it was a fan who put the best aerial show at the Staples Center of the young season. During halftime of Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic, middle school science teach Jonathan Clark took the court for a contest — and wound up taking the crowd by storm. Check out this dazzling display of dunks, and again, keep in mind, he spends his days in a classroom instructing students about kinetic energy:

Amazing. That's three NBA Dunk Contest-level jams in about 25 seconds. I don't think my 8th-grade science teacher could do three push-ups in 25 seconds.
Of course, Mr. Clark does more than just dabble in dunks. He describes himself as a “pro dunker” in his Twitter bio, spent time as a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, and has a popular YouTube channel. Earlier this year, Clark, who was an All-American track star at UC..
Fan lets loose excruciating “NOOO!” as Hawaii basketball fails to cover on missed layup
I don't bet on sports. Many of my colleagues do. It seems fun and occasionally gratifying. Some delusional part of me even thinks I might be good at it. But I don't because I never, ever want to be this guy; screaming “NOOO!” like a bookie now owns my house because Hawaii basketball missed a garbage time lay-up in the DirectTV Wooden Legacy semifinal against Seton Hall. Never. Ever.

That said, I'm glad somebody is this guy, because this is far and away the funniest sports soundbite you'll hear this week. The arena is half full with friends and family and here is one dude in the nosebleeds running FanDuel off the hot dog stand WiFi while clutching a pocket full of dreams (and pony tickets). When it all goes down the drain—as it will when you're putting actual U.S. currency on HAWAII FREAKING BASKETBALL—he can't help but scream like Brad Pitt opening a cardboard box. It's just a reflex, the same as b..
As Tiger Woods plans out his 2019 schedule, golf fans should plan on seeing less Tiger Woods
Tiger talked about grind of playing seven out of nine weeks at the end of the 2018 PGA Tour season and vowed to take more time off to avoid late-season fatigue
Phil Mickelson’s $9 million haul, Jordan Spieth’s competing wedding, and the legend of Ho-sung Choi grows
Welcome to another edition of The Grind, where we’re tired of hearing people complain about THE MATCH. First, it was Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson were playing for too much money. Then the money didn’t mean anything. And then it was taking away from the World Cup of Golf, which wasn’t even on at the same time! Also, last time I checked, you are allowed to watch multiple sporting events on the same day.
FacebookPinterestHarry HowSo pipe down, people. It wasn’t the prettiest golf or the best and most innovative broadcast (more on that later), but THE MATCH was still worth watching. Of course, I’m a bit biased with my obsession for anything Tiger does. I mean, I'd watch Tiger Woods go grocery shopping for $19.95 (come to think of it, does Tiger Woods do his own grocery shopping?). . . Anyway, we’ve got a healthy helping of leftovers from THE MATCH to serve up and more from an eventful Thanksgiving weekend. Let’s get cracking.

Phil Mickelson: Golf’s ultimate showman..
If you want to NEVER go hang gliding, definitely watch this video of a guy somehow avoiding death on his first ride
I, like many of you probably are, am terrified of heights. Are there actually people out there who aren't?! What a bunch of sickos. Watching “Man on Wire” is all the thrill I need, and I promise you I was 10 times as nervous as Phillippe Petit was, and I obviously already knew the outcome. Aside from checking that one off my documentary list last year, I want no part of watching anybody parkour on a roof or backflip on a cliff in the name of seeking a “thrill.”
Despite this fear, when I came across this viral video of a man's first hang gliding attempt gone horribly wrong, I had to watch. Normally I'd keep scrolling and return to whatever I was doing, but for some reason this drew me in, and it was an absolutely WILD ride. I bet it was for this guy too:

Sorry, just had to dry off my slippery hands from all the freaking sweat. What the HELL?! Sick way to kick off a vacation, by narrowly avoiding death on your first ever try at hang gliding. If my ha..
