Steph Curry donates $25,000 to tour player whose wife is battling cancer

Lachlan CunninghamSteph Curry's second foray at the Web.com Tour's Ellie Mae Classic didn't go as well as the first. After an auspicious start to the tournament, Curry faltered in the second round, shooting an 86 to finish last. But Curry's golf is inconsequential compared to what he did afterwards.
Curry announced that he has donated $25,000 to tour player Scott Harrington and his wife, Jenn. Harrington didn't play at the Ellie Mae because he is with his wife as she battles cancer.
“This is an opportunity for me—obviously there are no words to—I can't put into words any other thoughts or feelings around what their family's going through,” Curry said. “But as I come out here and play with these professionals, it's about raising their notoriety in terms of the game of golf.”
Curry implored others to follow his lead, stating the tournament is offering $15,000 to the Harrington Fund as well.
“We encourage anybody who's a fan of the game and who..

PGA Championship 2018: Tiger arrives at Bellerive LIKE A BOSS, Twitter reacts accordingly

After a red-hot start to his third round, Tiger Woods was officially back in contention at a major championship, once again sending social media into a full-blown frenzy. With his fifth birdie of the day at the par-5 eighth hole it became a matter of when, not if, he'd take the lead. The only thing left to wonder was by how many shots.

PGA Championship 2018: Brooks Koepka listed as Vegas favorite, Tiger Woods at 14-to-1 heading into final round

(Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images)A crowded leader board heading into the final round of the PGA Championship has given us a similarly packed list of players' odds, as listed by Vegas sportsbooks attempting to predict Sunday's action. Not surprisingly, Brooks Koepka is an overwhelming favorite, thanks to his two-shot lead heading into Day 4.
The back-to-back U.S. Open champ is listed at almost even odds to win his third career major. In fact, the Westgate Las Vegas sportsbook has Koepka listed at +100. And DraftKings' New Jersey sportsbook has Koepka at +125, so the sportsbooks are confident in Koepka's ability to win his second major of the year—and do so by sleeping on a 54-hole lead for a second time in 2018. Adam Scott, who sits in solo second and will tee off in the final group with Koepka on Sunday, has slightly better odds than the rest of the talented pack of players who will be chasing Koepka. Jon Rahm and Rickie Fowler, who are both three shots back, are l..
