Players Championship 2019: Ryan Moore is building a hole-in-one resume that may never be topped
Gregory ShamusPONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — Ryan Moore's ace at the par-3 17th on Thursday at the Players Championship had to be one of the more memorable moments in his career. Doing it at the island green, in front of a giant crowd and hitting the hole on the fly? Can't beat it. Funny thing is, you could argue Moore has had bigger aces in his career.
Before we get into the particulars, let's watch one more time. It's only right:

Moore used a 54-degree sand wedge from 120 yards, though he said it was playing between 110 and 112 after his round. He finished with a five-under 67, putting him two shots off the lead.
“That [ace on 17] was pretty unbelievable,” said Moore.” It was one of those shots, I hit it as good as I could, and at least it was like it was a good golf shot. I was watching it and just in my head I was watching it the whole time thinking, well that's got to be the right yardage like I hit it perf..

Golf’s resident impressionist does his best Tiger Woods in new Bridgestone commercial
Even if you don't know him by name, you definitely remember Conor Sketches—AKA Conor Moore—who took Golf Twitter™ by storm last year with his incredible tour pro impressions ahead of both the Masters and Open Championship. We've seen Conor's deadpan DJ and prickly Poulter, but so far he's played his Tiger card close to his chest. Once you cross the Big Cat, you don't come back, after all. On Thursday, however, we finally got a look at the Magnum to Conor's Blue Steel, and needless to say, it was worth the wait.

FacebookPinterestPretty good stuff all round from Conor, even if he doesn't have the real estate to really stretch out and make the character his own. He nails the signature Tiger collar adjustment that we all do whether we realize it or not, as well as iconic nose-tug-and-sniff maneuver. His delivery is also solid, drilling down on Tiger's trademark “really” pronunciation while ..
U.S. Amateur runner-up Devon Bling finds ingenious way to replicate the speedy greens he’ll soon see at Augusta National
There are 28 days and counting until the first round of the Masters. For the amateurs competing in the year’s first men’s major, that means it’s time to start getting their games in gear so that they’re ready for the challenging conditions they’ll face at Augusta National the first full week in April.
Viktor Hovland, the reigning U.S. Amateur champion, has been trying to do just that by playing in a handful of PGA Tour events. After teeing it up at the Mayakoba Golf Classic last November, the 20-year-old Oklahoma State sophomore by way of Norway played in the Farmers Insurance Open in late January, where he missed the cut, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, where he made the cut and finished tied for 40th.
Then there’s Devon Bling, the man Hovland defeated in the final last August at Pebble Beach. The 19-year-old sophomore at UCLA hasn’t been out on the pro circuit, instead playing exclusively for the Bruins since the spring college season began in late January. Bling has ma..
Plane turns around after woman forgets baby at airport in real-life ‘Home Alone’ reenactment
SOPA ImagesOn the Waterfront, Citizen Kane, Gone With the Wind, Home Alone. In the pantheon of classic cinema that drive at heart of the American condition, Chris Columbus's John Hughes-penned Christmas classic about a middle-class, middle-west suburban white kid forgotten by his stretched-too-thin parents is certainly at or near the top. But while Home Alone is both a certified essential and a valuable reminder for children everywhere that their parents will one day leave them waiting after soccer practice for hours in the dark (literally and metaphorically), it is somewhat less amusing when it plays out in real life, as it did this weekend when Saudi Arabian Airlines Flight SV832 was forced to make an emergency U-turn shortly after take off because a passenger onboard realized they had forgot their baby at the gate. We warn you, this footage might be disturbing for some viewers.
According to Gulf News, the Kuala Lumpur-bound flight, radioed air traffic controllers shortly after ..
