James Harden is so used to traveling that he can’t even admit this blatant travel was a travel

While many star NBA players turned getting away with traveling into an art form over the years, few have done it with the sheer frequency and efficiency of James Harden. The man is the master of the moonwalk, the colossus of carry, the sultan of steps, the duke of double dribble. Ok, you get it. The guy travels, a lot. And yes, so do a lot of NBA players, but none as blatantly as Harden. His latest submission into the traveling WALK of fame (boom, roasted) came on Monday night against the Utah Jazz. Behold, the double-step-back-three-to-get-a-cheap-foul move:

That's right, the refs called a foul on Ricky Rubio on this play. A foul! Harden is difficult enough to guard when he is playing within the rules let alone when he's doing the elusive double step back. It's so blatant at this point that it seems reckless on Harden's part, but he's gotten so used to it that he won't even admit it when it's th..

Noted celebrity golfer Alfonso Ribeiro suing ‘Fortnite’ over a dance move

Mike WindleYou know Alfonso Ribeiro. If not for his role as Carlton on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, then for his regular appearances at celebrity golf tournaments around the globe, where he can usually be found Carlton Dancing his way into the highlight reel.
But while Ribeiro plays Mr. Nice Guy on TV, he's not so happy with Take-Two Interactive—the maker of Fortnite and NBA 2K—for using the so-called “Carlton Dance” in their smash-hit franchises without the express written consent of Carlton. In fact, Ribeiro is so irked by this, that he is currently suing the Delaware-based video game developer in an effort to block their use of the dance.
Of all the problems the U.S. Justice system is currently facing, this has been made top priority.
FacebookPinterestHow Ribeiro has legal grounds for a cease-and-desist of a dance move that he has not copyrighted (though he is currently seeking to, according to reports) is beyond us. Why he would sue instead using this as leverage for some sort..

Taj Gibson tries to block a shot with his shoe, opens shoe-blocking floodgates

Folks, good news. After years of searching, we have finally found it—the pinnacle of Taj Gibson's NBA relevancy. In the first quarter of the Timberwolves' game against the powder-blue Kings last night, Gibson received the ball in the post, turned, dribbled, and hit a lay up over Nemanja Bjelica all while losing his shoe. Impressive enough. Then as possession swung to the Kings, Gibson picked up said shoe, hustled down the court, and attempted something that will send reverberations across the basketball landscape for years to come:
He tried to block a shot…with his shoe.

Gibson didn't end up getting the block, that stat instead goes to Karl-Anthony Towns, but the impact of this decision—and the ref's response of “hey sure, we haven't read this deep in the rulebook yet”—cannot be overstated. By year's end players will be blocking shots with fish nets and ping-pong paddles. They'll be wearing four-inch stilettos just to get an..

Kid crosses up his little sister so hard his mom storms the court

I'm a proud, card-carrying member of the oldest sibling fraternity. No matter the scenario, I am bound by oath to see things through eyes of every eldest on earth. We are not always right, of course, but our cross to bear in life is a great one: We are the trailblazers. We are the first to skin our knees after training wheels come off and the first to get a college rejection letter. We are the first to incur our parents' still-potent wrath for any number of infractions and the first to ask for help moving a mattress into a four-story walk-up. So when it comes to time to finally put our little siblings on skates, honestly can you blame us, compassionate citizens of the world? No. No you cannot.
