The year in PGA Tour WAGS (2018): Clutch caddying, romantic proposals, and one super fancy gala

Richard HeathcotePerhaps more than ever before, golfers and their significant others (AKA WAGs) were intertwined — and on display together — during this past year. Sure, there were the usual engagements, weddings, and babies, but there were also shared struggles, triumphs and viral moments that helped tell the story of the 2018 golf season. Let’s take a look back.
Of course, we start with Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky. There still were no wedding bells (At least, we didn’t get an invite), but the couple celebrated an important milestone:
FacebookPinterestFive years?! It feels like just yesterday when we started stalking following these two lovebirds. And after all this time, they're still dancing on boats and doing backflips into the water to get over tough losses in majors:
FacebookPinterestPaulina also celebrated a birthday milestone of her own:

And she had a meme of her go viral after she was spotted lurking in the background while DJ did an interv..

The best, dumbest and most nauseating golf Twitter spats of 2018

For all of #GolfTwitter's goods, like the chatter on a major championship Sunday (specifically about Tiger’s arrival), the fans who provide us with grainy video that would normally never see the light of day, and of course, anything involving Patrick Reed, there are an equal or greater amount of evils. Namely, dumb, sometimes even nauseating spats.
Some are quite enjoyable, like Rory McIlroy and Steve Elkington’s famous back-and-forth during the 2017 U.S. Open. Others (pretty much all the others) make you want to throw your phone through the wall, then go grab your computer to hop back on in case you missed anything. This could be described as an “addiction,” but let’s just go with “unhealthy obsession” because that sounds better even though they are one in the same.
Despite Grayson Murray deleting the app entirely in May of 2017, we still had plenty of great exchanges on the social media app that kept us scrolling for more. Here were some of our favorites, and if you find yoursel..

St. Louis Blues invite puppy to practice in futile attempt to stop punching each other in the heads

As we already touched on this week, it's not a great time to be a St. Louis Blues fan. They're currently sitting third from bottom in the Western Conference, leading the dreaded (and similarly embattled) Blackhawks by a point and the Kings by one more than that. Worse than their league position, however, is the way they've been handling it, getting caught on camera beating the inadequacy out of each other during practice on Monday. Suffice to say, this makes Chicago's college intern head coach look positively adult by comparison.

FacebookPinterestBill SmithSo how did the St. Louis Blues leadership hierarchy decide to handle the recent explosion of Blues-on-Blues crime? Well, by bringing in a puppy of course, because no one has ever had an argument in front of a puppy…

OK, OK. So pretty cute. Barclay—the Blues' unofficial office puppy—even tries to steal a stick, because do..

KFC Firelog to fill hearth and home with the smell of fried chicken this holiday season

It's the most wonderful time of the year, folks. The halls are decked and the stockings hung with total disregard. There's a partridge in the pear tree crapping all over everything and Rudolph, with his nose so bright, is late for his shift again tonight. But those aren't your chestnuts roasting on the open fire, our frazzled festive friends. It's greasy fried chicken goodness courtesy of KFC's 11 Herbs and Spices-scented Firelog—a non-edible flammable inspired by the same time-tested chicken recipe you know and love.

Weighing in at a healthy five pounds, each KFC Firelog is made from 100% recycled materials and has a burn time of two and half to three hours—which is about as long as you're going to last at your parents' house anyway. Clocking in $18.99, the Firelog is about the same price as a $20 Fill Up (though decidedly less satisfying) and about $190,981 cheaper than a Tesla Roadster, 2018's..
