Tourists in Iceland keep confusing this random office for a penis museum

Listen, work is hard enough as it is. You're on deadline, maybe a little hungover, and oh look your co-workers are recapping The Bachelor again. But if you think that's bad, just imagine trying to TCB (Take Care of Bizness) with a bunch of tourists wandering up to your cubicle asking if this is the penis museum, because that's exactly what employees of the Reykjavík International Film Festival have been putting up with for years.
Located down the street from The Icelandic Phallological Museum, RIFF employees have been repeatedly forced to refer curious travelers to the genital paradise down the street. Fed up with the distraction, however, employees finally put their foot down this week, affixing some helpful penis museum directions to their office door:

Tiger Woods’ gift to golf fans, Paul Casey’s “poor” timing, and the funniest golf club nickname ever

Welcome to another edition of The Grind, where we learned that being without power for a week will give you a new appreciation for electricity. By the way I reacted to my garage door opening with the push of a button again, you would have thought I’d witnessed a miracle. And thankfully, after a loooong week of living with the in-laws, I got home just in time to witness an actual miracle.
Tiger Woods nearly won a PGA Tour event. The same Tiger Woods who underwent a fourth back surgery less than 12 months ago. The same Tiger Woods who less than six months ago admitted there was “definitely” a chance he might never return to competitive golf. Not only has the 14-time major champ returned, but he’s only needed 14 rounds to prove he can still hang with the world’s best golfers. Let’s talk about Tiger and everything else that happened during a busy week. But yeah, let’s mostly talk about Tiger.

Garcia talks Masters while on verge of becoming father

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Sergio Garcia kept to his schedule of the traditional conference call for the Masters champion while his wife was at the hospital for the birth of their first child.

His wife, Angela, was not due until Sunday. They are in Austin, Texas, and Garcia planned to speak to golf media on Tuesday morning. He called from the hospital. He paused at one point to answer a question, so it was clear she was not very far along in the process.

Even so, Garcia says it was surreal to be talking about his Masters victory while being on verge of becoming a father.

He says it looks as if the birth will happen early and he’s ”excited and a little nervous for Angela and the baby to make sure everything goes well.”

Your hero of the week is this 86-year-old man who just logged his 10,000th round of golf

Vaughn RidleyBob Roth is a lifer. The Air Force veteran, insurance salesman and father of 1993 PGA club professional champion Jeff Roth, loves golf. Scratch that. He lives for golf. And last week he signed the scorecard on one hell of a personal milestone: His 10,000th round of golf.
Roth played his first round at Pennsylvania's Newcastle Country Club at age 15, posting a modest 128 (yes, he is the kind of guy who would keep score on his first round). Since that fateful day in 1947, Roth has racked a calculator-frying amount of golf, dedicating 50,000 hours—that's 2,083 1/3 days and 5.7 years—of his life to smacking a little white ball around a whopping 514 different courses.
“I maintain that no human has played more golf,” Jeff Roth told PGA of America historian Bob Denney. “Should someone argue that Gary Player has played more rounds than my dad, I say, OK, that's nice. Please prove it.”

Warren Buffett offers employee who picks a perfect Sweet 16 a million dollars a year for life

Eric FrancisWarren Buffett loves March Madness almost as much as a bull market and a cheap breakfast. In 2014, Buffett offered a cool billion to the humble American idiot who could pick a perfect wire-to-wire bracket. With an army of bloodsucking lawyers at his doorstep, however, Buffett decided to move his annual insanity in-house for 2018, offering employees of Berkshire Hathaway $1 million dollars PER YEAR simply for picking a perfect Sweet 16.
Although it's a long shot—of the 18.8 million brackets filled out on ESPN last year, only 18 managed to make it to the Sweet 16 unscathed—Buffett is offering some interesting escalators and incentives to keep things interesting. First, the employee whose bracket remains blemished longest, will receive a payout of $100,000, or approximately how much Bill Gates spends on pizza rolls every week. Second, if Creighton or Nebraska—teams from Buffett's home state—end up winning the tournament, that $1-million-per-year payout automatically ..

Meet all the NCAA Tournament mascots you’ve never heard of

Every spring, March Madness once again proves that it’s good at enabling three things: Getting paid for watching small schools lose on your phone, pointing at Louisville and laughing, and introducing you to a handful of historic, tradition-rich universities you have never heard of in your life. But did you know that in addition to students, degrees and decades upon decades of history, these schools also have their own mascots? Read on to learn the mysterious nicknames of some of the teams who are traveling thousands of miles to lose to North Carolina:
1. The University of Maryland Baltimore County Retrievers (16 seed, South): The Retrievers are named for the state dog of Maryland, which interestingly has a state dog for some reason! (Let’s just all calm down, we already have 50 useless state birds, we don’t need a whole f**king state zoo.) The school has cycled through several different retrievers in the way that Georgia plows through Ugas, but their actual mascot is named “True Grit.”..

Tiger effects leads to highest PGA Tour ratings in 5 years

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Tiger Woods was one shot away from a chance to win, and the PGA Tour had its largest television audience in five years.

NBC Sports Group says the final round of the Valspar Championship earned a 5.11 overnight rating, up 190 percent over the previous year and the highest-rated PGA Tour broadcast since Woods won The Players Championship in 2013. That doesn’t include the majors.

Woods, returning from a fourth back surgery, was one shot out of the lead going into the final round. He had a 40-foot birdie attempt on the 18th hole to force a playoff with Paul Casey and came up short.

Golf Channel’s two-hour window before the NBC telecast Sunday earned a 1.65 rating, its highest-rated coverage for the lead-in window since it began in 2009.

Darren Rovell is Hot Sauce’s latest victim

Darren Rovell is a fine reporter and a fun follow on Twitter, but he is NOT a lockdown NBA defender. This should come as a surprise to exactly no one, but as legendary streetballer Hot Sauce—who has been de-souling random heroes at Hawks games for a while now—proved on Sunday night, sometimes you need to see a thing to believe a thing. Take it away, Twitter:

https://twitter.com/ATLHawks/status/972947537073119232
So first of all, kudos to Rovell for having a sense of humor and treating this like the joke that it so clearly is. A lot of hard dudes have gone out there talking a big game about taking down Hot Sauce in recent weeks, and all of them have left with their egos in a sling. Second of all, Rovell's authentic White Spud Webb get-up deserves a shout-out as well, thanks in large part to those smooth custom warm-..
