This ricochet club-flip trick shot is poetry in motion

Joshua Kelley—AKA @holein1trickshots—is a Van Gogh-ian trick shot savant; an eccentric once-in-a-generation artiste who paints with a driver and an iPhone and instead of a brush and a canvas. The beautiful mind behind wizardry like this…

…Kelley has blown our minds time and time again, but his latest masterpiece may be his best yet. Look upon it and weep, ye humble golf pilgrims:

A cross between The Matrix and The Masters, this ricochet-club-flip hybrid—executed in a single seamless motion—would end with most golfers getting a grip to ol' eye socket, but Kelley manages to make it look effortless, as if this is how he drives it every time he steps to the tee box with the Saturday starting queue watching on. So pour yourself a nice robust red, throw on some Wagner, and add a little culture to your evening, becuase in the weird, wide world of trick shots, this is as close to a work of art as yo..

Angela Garcia on watching Sergio play, her competitive past and her new gig

Matthew Lewis/Getty ImagesAngela Garcia played college golf at the University of Texas and worked for the Golf Channel, among other outlets. In 2017, she married Sergio Garcia and the couple is expecting their first child in March 2018. Angela and I spoke on Sergio’s 38th birthday when she took some time away from planning Sergio’s surprise birthday dinner to chat with me about golf, what's next in her career and how stressful it is to watch Sergio play.
You played golf in college at the University of Texas. How do you think your experience watching a tournament is different from other wives and girlfriends who haven’t played competitively?
I walk around at events with other wives and girlfriends and everyone is different. Some know a lot about golf, some have played another sport and some don’t know much about golf. Having played at the level I played at, it gives us a good relationship where Sergio can talk to me about things. After the round I just listen and give feedback when..

Watch four PGA Tour rookies beat Euro players’ Guinness World Record for fastest hole in golf

We have long extolled the creativity and wit displayed by the European Tour's social video team; every new clip is like receiving a present on Christmas day. One of the gems from last season featured a trio of Euro foursomes attempting to break the Guinness World Record for fastest hole in golf, with a French quartet (Raphael Jacquelin, Alex Levy, Romain Wattel, and Gregory Havret) shattering the mark. Simple in premise, yes, but nevertheless a delight to watch.
So, we present the following with a bit of reservation: this video is a blatant rip-off of said idea, with four PGA Tour rookies — Tom Lovelady, Lanto Griffin, Andrew Yun and Stephan Jaeger — trying to beat Team France at the 500-yard 17th hole at Palm Desert Country Club in California. It's not quite as entertaining as the European endeavor, although the venture proved fruitful:
Kudos to the rooks on their achievement. Let's hope this spurs a response from the Euro team involving hovercrafts, parachutes and ex..

If we all had half the energy this high school basketball announcer has the world would be a much better place

Unless you have kids in high school that play basketball, or you played some hoops back in your day, you'll likely never understand the atmosphere of a Saturday morning JV game. Believe it or not, the word “electric” is not one we'd use to describe it. It's quiet, everyone (players included) are still half asleep, and there's rarely any NBA talent to be found.
But that didn't stop one Pennsylvania high school basketball announcer from completely flipping the game on its head and turning the decibel level all the way up to 11 this past weekend. Have a listen as this dude makes Game 7 at Oracle Arena sound like a library compared to his player intros. I recommend a low volume level, or put it on full blast if you're looking for a morning jolt/trying to be fired:

Watch Giannis Antetokounmpo donate his “Greek Freak” sweatshirt so a kid can take off “Big Baller Brand” hoodie

Giannis Antetokounmpo is second in the NBA in scoring this season, dropping rainmakers and hammers as opposing defenses watch in dazed resignation. While his ability to make buckets is virtually unmatched, the Milwaukee Bucks star is also handy with the assist. A notion on full display in the video below.
The 23-year-old met with his fan base after Sunday's win over the Brooklyn Nets, and spotted a kid wearing a “Big Baller Brand” hoodie. An apparel choice the Greek Freak simply could not abide:

Antetokounmpo literally gave the shirt off his back. An amazingly kind gesture, even if his sweatshirt probably fits the prepubescent like a tent.
Plus, it's likely the only time an All-Star caliber player will ever touch a BBB item. Proud day for the Ball family, I'm sure.

The ‘Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ gang goes to the Super Bowl

Nothing—not the “The Process” nor “The Answer” nor even the now Super Bowl champion Eagles Iggles—have summed up the true 21st-century spirit of Philadelphia quite like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. A glue-huffing, Yuengling chugging one-way-ticket to the bottom floor of humanity, Always Sunny has enjoyed one the unlikeliest 12-season runs in sitcom history, writing a new, X-rated love letter to Philly with each and every episode. Thus, when the Birds made the Bowl for the first time since the show premiered way back in August 2005, you just knew a real-life road-trip was in order. Thankfully, the “gang” didn't disappoint.

Let’s be the only people online to break down the ‘Lando,’ er, ‘Solo’ trailer

Good news for Solo fans and those worried that we’d have to go like six months without a Star Wars movie: According to trailers that premiered last night during the Failed Patriots Trick Play Fest-O-Rama and this morning on Good Morning America, Solo: A Star Wars Story is a movie that, despite, exists — they shot it and everything, maybe even twice! This is a fine development for fans who have been wondering, with the movie’s release a mere four months away, whether the delay in delivering any promotional materials was part of a responsive new marketing strategy on the part of Lucasfilm, or a sign that the twice-shot movie, which replaced its directors with mere weeks left in production, is a hot fresh pile of Chewie barf. (This debate has been raging at the same time that grown men continue whining that Luke’s space magic powers in The Last Jedi are not the appropriate kind of space magic powers.)
But Solo is here! And it opens with the introductory metal-guitar crunch from “Kickstart..
