KFC celebrates Royal Wedding with romantic commemorative chicken bucket
Chris JacksonIn case you haven't heard or have simply, mercifully blacked it out, there's a Royal Wedding happening this week. On Saturday, Suits “star” Meghan Markle will marry Prince Harry while the imaginations of the world's least imaginative people spiral down into the deepest, darkest tabloid wormholes.
It will be only the second time an American (and divorcée) has married into the Royal Family, it will cost somewhere in the realm of $43 million dollars, and the father of the bride—an everyman who celebrated his daughter's engagement by picking up some beer and cigarettes—wasn't invited, but of all the scandalous stories oozing out of Buckingham Palace, our favorite belongs unquestionably to KFC UK. To celebrate the occasion and presumably rebuild some goodwill following a chicken shortage at their chicken restaurant earlier this year, the southern icon put on their Sunday best and launched a special, limited-edition chicken bucket for the hotly anticipat..
Al Horford’s sister curses out J.R. Smith for dirty foul on her brother
Boston GlobeWe here at The Loop/Golf Digest love J.R. Smith. Not only is he arguably the world's most avid celebrity golfer, he might love the game we love more than anyone on this planet. But putting our bias for the Cavaliers' swingman aside, Tuesday night was not Smith's finest hour.
For starters, Smith didn't score a single point in the Cavs' loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, missing all seven of his shots. Not good. But even worse, he let his frustration get the best of him late in the game by committing a dirty foul on Celtics star Al Horford in the closing minutes, dangerously shoving the center from behind while he went up for an alley-oop. Here's a look:
Not surprisingly, the Celtics, particularly Marcus Smart, were not pleased. A minor skirmish broke out and Smith was assessed a Flagrant 1, which probably should have been a Flagrant 2 and an ejection. And Horford's sister, Anna, didn't hold back on Twitter:..

New PGA Tour schedule still has a few moving parts
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) Jay Monahan might have been overly ambitious when he said he hoped to have next year’s PGA Tour schedule ready to announce at The Players Championship. The commissioner is not in a big rush, and there remain a few moving parts.
And it goes beyond finding a title sponsor for the Houston Open.
The Houston Open currently is slotted for the week before the U.S. Open next year, and tour officials remain confident it will be on the schedule. The final piece of the puzzle is the section between the U.S. Open and the British Open.

The John Deere Classic has been held the week before the British Open since 2004, except for in 2016 because of the Olympics.
”Our hope is to keep our traditional date,” tournament director Clair Peterson said.
